Currently (2005) writes and directs African-American themed plays, such
as "Girl, I Knew He Was a Dog When He Barked in His Sleep" and "Queen
of the Blues" (a tribute to
Dinah Washington) in the Los Angeles area.
Several of his plays have had successful runs at the
Stella Adler
Theater in Hollywood and feature up-and-coming African-American actors.
