When it comes to reality TV drama, few shows can match the intensity of The Bachelor. Season 28 was no exception, with contestant Maria Georgas and Sydney Gordon’s feud capturing headlines. Keep reading for all the details on their surprising reunion.
Bachelor Rivals From Frenemies To Just Friends?
The women’s clash began over concerns about Maria’s treatment of Madina Alam, the oldest contestant on the show. Sydney overheard Maria telling another contestant that Madina should “own” her age, which Sydney interpreted as dismissive.
The tension escalated on national television, with Maria accused of playing manipulative mind games and Sydney feeling unfairly targeted. Fans watched as the conflict between the two women dominated conversations, with many siding with Sydney and calling for Maria’s removal from the show.

Best supporting actress nominee Danielle Brooks hit the Oscars red carpet wearing a Dolce & Gabbana satin corset gown.
The Color Purple star — who looks radiant in the black dress featuring a dramatic leg slit — has been working with star stylist Jennifer Austin for less than six months, but the relationship has quickly evolved from friends and colleagues to a sensibility that felt only familial.
“From the first moment, we felt like sisters,” Austin tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I had met her a few times, and I’ve always been a fan of hers, from Orange is the New Black to when I would see her performing in The Color Purple or The Piano Lesson in New York. She’s so talented and has such an incredible energy, so when my agent called to ask whether I wanted to take this meeting, my response was ‘Absolutely!'”

A variety of fashion trends carried over from the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, notably in the crimson-hued dresses worn by Dua Lipa, Abby Elliott and others. Rose details, seen on the custom Balmain gown worn by Margot Robbie, as well as with the rosettes that cascaded down the shoulder of Emily Blunt’s Giorgio Armani Privé gown were also notable. New trends that emerged at the 29th Critics Choice Awards included black as the dominant color in gowns, such as Angela Bassett’s Pamella Roland design or best actress winner Emma Stone’s custom Louis Vuitton. This is heartbreaking news for the art and music communities. Rick Genest, who rose to fame under the alias "Zombie Boy," has reportedly died on Aug. 1. He was allegedly found in his Plateau-Mont-Royal, Montreal apartment following an apparent suicide, police told iHeartRadio Canada. He was one week away from his 33rd birthday. Rick was probably most famous in America for his role in Lady Gaga's 7-minute masterpiece "Born This Way," in which she had his tattoos replicated on her own face. Quickly after learning the news, Gaga tweeted, "The suicide of friend Rick Genest, Zombie Boy is beyond devastating. We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can’t talk about it. If you are suffering, call a friend or family today. We must save each other." The suicide of friend Rick Genest, Zombie Boy is beyond devastating.

After another wild and wacky season of tangos and tears, salsas and cheers – not to mention one of the most closely contested finales in Dancing With the Stars history – Season 19’s momentous, Mirrorball-crowning moment of truth is upon us.
Would the ballroom’s most consistently excellent performer, Alfonso Ribeiro, maintain his form long enough to hold off two fiercely formidable female challengers — Sadie Robertson and Janel Parrish? Would it all come down to Tuesday’s last dance, the mega-challenging 24-hour Fusion Challenge? (Um, it might’ve… had all three routines not garnered 10s across the board from the judges!)

It was a year marred by painful injuries (bummer about your groin, Alfonso Ribeiro!) and awkward wardrobe malfunctions (pink boas will never mean the same again to Betsey Johnson), but the 19th season finale of Dancing with the Stars Tuesday was no less dramatic.

Tony Dovolani and his partner, Betsey Johnson, were eliminated a week ago from Dancing with the Stars.
Little did Dovolani know, this week would be even more humbling.

Curly mullet? Check. See-through zebra-print shirt? Check.
After the show, People caught up with the Albanian dancer, 41, who just had to marvel about his decade-old self.

Here are the best, worst, and weirdest moments from this week's 'DWTS'
This week on Dancing With The Stars, each contestant took a stroll down memory lane to look back at the most important year in their lives to get inspiration for this week's dance.
Some of the songs were emotional, like Bethany Mota's performance that recalled her struggle against cyberbullying and the talented Lea Thompson's tribute to her late father, while others were fun expressions of joy, like Alfonso Ribeiro's adaptation of his famous Fresh Prince dance The Carlton.
Meanwhile, other dances saw Sadie Robertson dressed up like a duck getting 'hunted' by Mark Ballas, decked out in camo and a long, fake, Duck Dynasty beard. Yes, that also happened.

Dancing with the Stars returned Monday with the top 10 celebrity dancers performing routines that channeled their most memorable year. Instead of a guest judge this week, the empty fourth chair was replaced by viewer votes tabulated during each performance.
Dancing With The Stars Recap
Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy were the first to hit the dance floor, taking on a Rumba. Parrish’s most memorable year, 2002, is when her vocal coach/ second grandmother passed away while she was trying to get a break in Hollywood. Val’s choreography incorporated a lot of contemporary moves into the Latin dance. Most of the judges enjoyed the new take and Janel’s moves, but Bruno Tonioli wanted to see the Pretty Little Liars star improve her spins. Score: 9+9+9+9=36
Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker wanted to have some fun this week to remember 2004, the year Mean Girls came out. The routine is over-the-top and reliant on the gimmick.

What a bittersweet episode of Dancing with the Stars! While we're so, so sad to say goodbye to fashion designer Betsey Johnson, the real news tonight was that it finally happened: Alfonso Ribeiro brought out The Carlton, and it was possibly even more glorious than we could have imagined. Tonight's DWTS theme was "memorable moments." Some stars danced to honor relatives or friends, while others marked a rough or important time in their lives or careers. Tonight was also the debut of America the Judge. Viewers had around two minutes during each dance to go online and submit a score, allowing America to stand in as the fourth judge. Jonathan Bennett paid homage to Mean Girls in honor of...

Dancing with the Stars returned Monday with Movie Night, in which actor Kevin Hart took over Len Goodman’s seat on the judges’ panel. Not only were the celebrities dancing movie-themed dances, but they were on high alert about whether or not they would be the second one going home from last Monday's routines.
Dancing with the Stars Recap
After finding out that they were one of the pairs in jeopardy, Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff took on the season’s first Paso Doble. Going with a Rocky theme, Karina choreographed an intense routine. Unfortunately, Randy’s biggest cheers came when he merely struck a pose – not when he was clumsily attempting to execute the dance moves. Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli found little to like about the performance. Scores: 7+7+6+6=26
Alfonso Riberio, eager to prove he can master ballroom dancing, did a quickstep, which was oddly given an Austin Powers theme.

The night was full of great dances, sweet moments, and some strange performances choices.
It's movie night on Dancing With The Stars, which means your favorite contestants got down to some of their favorite movies and movie music, leading to some incredibly memorable moments, and some that were embarrassingly wonderful.
News: 'DWTS' Results Recap: Who Got Voted Off In Week 2?
And, yes, one of the dancers had to say goodbye at the end of the night's episode. You can skip to the spoilers at the end if you just can't help yourself. Otherwise, let's take a look at the best, worst and weirdest moments of the evening.
Best Moments
- Dancing Marilyn Monroes
The night started with three silver-clad Marilyn Monroes swirling their dresses and looking generally gorgeous. It's a pretty good sign the night is going to be, at the very least, entertaining.

Even on a night that saw two perfect scores on Dancing with the Stars, someone still had to leave the ballroom for good.
Sadly, Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff began the night knowing they were in jeopardy. Based on scores from viewers and the judges last week, the duo became the third couple to leave the dance floor.
"It's been a great experience, putting myself out there and trying something new," said Couture.
Besides a roof-raising appearance by guest judge Kevin Hart, lots of other fun surprises happened underneath the mirror ball Monday. Here were the scores:
Couture and Smirnoff.

Dancing with the Stars returned Tuesday night to announce who would be the next couple eliminated from the celebrity dancing show.
Dancing With The Stars Recap
In jeopardy this week were Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater, Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas and Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess, the last of whom ended up getting eliminated. The talk show host, who had performed a cha cha to Earth, Wind and Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland,” was hindered throughout the week by book signings and other commitments that took away from his rehearsal time.
Though Tavis was admittedly disappointed to have to say goodbye to the out-of-character experience so soon, he said he has no regrets. “I do not live a life of regret, the art of dance I absolutely love,” he said.
On the results show, Janel Parish and Val Chmerkovkiy were selected by the Twitterverse for the encore performance, as Len Goodman...

Week two of "Dancing With the Stars" was a mixed bag. First-week standouts Alfonso Ribeiro and Sadie Robertson lost a step, but still finished among the top half of competitors, while Michael Waltrip failed to impress and wound up at the bottom of the leaderboard. -Break- 'DWTS' recap: Did last week's top performers live up to high expectations? But just like last week, when lowest scorer Betsey Johnson was spared elimination at the expense of Lolo Jones, finishing in last place with judges didn't mean elimination for Waltrip. At the end of Tuesday night's results show, it came down to him and talk show host Tavis Smiley, but it was Smiley who got the axe. Smiley impressed judges in the first week of competition, but in week two he struggled to balance his training schedule with the demands of a book tour. He worried he wouldn't have time to learn his routine,...

(Spoiler alert: Do not read on if you have not yet watched Tuesday's Week 2 elimination episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”) Michael Waltrip is a champion on the racetrack, but he found himself in danger of elimination going into Tuesday night's elimination episode of “Dancing With the Stars.” With 24 points, the Nascar driver had the lowest judges’ score of Monday night's performances, so he needed his racing fans to rally behind him with their votes. Above him was a three-way tie between Tommy Chong, Betsey Johnson and Tavis Smiley. Out of a possible 40 points, they each scored 28. Also...

ETonline takes a look at this week's 'DWTS' routines.
This week's episode of DWTS was a special My Jam Monday edition, where the songs were chosen by contestants who were able to dance to any music they chose. The routines were hot, the judges were excited, and the stars were ready to show how much they had improved from last week.
Let's take a look at the individual dance numbers and see whose gotten better and who the judges think need more work.
Mma Fighter and Expendables 3 star Randy Couture and pro Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Cha Cha
Song: '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' (cover)

The celebrities got to pick their tunes on Monday's edition of Dancing with the Stars, so the numbers were as varied as a bikini song samba to a Cyndi Lauper-inspired foxtrot.
Here were the scores:
Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff. It seemed like an awfully big challenge – dancing the cha-cha to "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" – but a uniform-clad Randy appeared to have a ball gyrating his hips to the crazy beat. "What a great way to start the night," said Judge Julianne Hough. "I think we have a new hip action hero," added Bruno Tonioli. Score: 28 out of 40
Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy.

Pump up the jam! With their first dances behind them, the season 19 contestants on Dancing With the Stars came ready to rock the house in week two. The one thing they all had in common? They got to choose the song they were dancing [...]...

Last night's "Dancing With the Stars" season premiere featured standout performances by several contestants, especially actor Alfonso Ribeiro, who impressed the judges so much they invited him and partner Witney Carson to perform an encore of their top-scoring jive during Tuesday night's results show. Accompanying Jones and Motsepe in the bottom two were Betsey Johnson & partner Tony Dovolani, who earned a 20 last night after a boa malfunction sort of screwed up their routine.
