Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’, was roped in to portray the lead character Shakti, a Hindu Goddess. Since the Us based director breathed his last following a surgery in 2005, the project had been shelved.

May 14, 2010: Young santoor player Rahul Sharma is on a roll and how! He has just returned from his tour to the Us and Canada. He has been on various tours, but this was the first time he collaborated with the tabla maestro, Ustad Zakir Hussain.

The duo had conducted various Hindustani classical music concerts on this tour. They performed six concerts in about eight days. The music in these concerts were mainly based on raga Chahrukeshi and Drut Ek Taal. These live performances by the pair were recorded and are now out in an album called ‘Rhythm of Love’.
