Doctor Who (1963)] I did actually crack. I got out of my seat in the production gallery and made for the studio floor with the full intention of flattening him. Luckily, it is a vast studio and there is a very long ladder down to the studio floor, and I had time to reflect on how terribly unproductive this would be. So I skidded to a halt in front of him and said, 'Tom, let's talk about this quietly,' which I think was a much better way to handle the situation!
