Netflix has given a formal series green light to That ’90s Show, a followup to Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner’s hit That ’70s Show. Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will anchor the spinoff, reprising their roles as Red Forman and Kitty Forman, respectively. They will executive produce That ’90s Show alongside its creators, That ’70s Show alum Gregg Mettler, who serves as showrunner, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner and their daughter Lindsay Turner.
Set in Wisconsin in 1995, That ’90s Show follows Leia Forman, daughter of Eric (Topher Grace) and Donna (Laura Prepon), who is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ’n roll never dies, it just changes clothes.

Brian Dennehy has been tapped to co-star opposite Donnie Wahlberg on TNT's drama pilot "Bunker Hill."
Meanwhile, Mather Zickel and Todd Stashwick have joined CBS' comedy pilot "The Kareskys."
"Bunker," from Warner Horizon, writer Walon Green and director Jon Avnet, explores crime, corruption and deceit in the Bunker Hill section of Boston and centers on Mike Moriarty (Donnie Wahlberg), who returns to Boston as a cop protecting the streets he grew up on.
Dennehy will play Martin Kelsey, a flower shop owner who was a former mob boss.
The actor, recently seen in "Righteous Kill," is repped by Icm and manager Susan Smith.
"Karenskys," from creator Linwood Boomer, director Pam Fryman, BermanBraun and Ums, centers on Emily Atwood (Alexander), who returns to her hometown when her husband Bill's (Zickel) job as biology professor relocates them and is reunited with her large, eccentric family, the Karenskys.

The "NCIS" alumna has been tapped as the star of the network's multicamera comedy pilot "The Karenskys."
The project, from "Malcolm in the Middle" creator Linwood Boomer, BermanBraun and Universal Media Studios, centers on Emily Atwood (Alexander), who returns to her hometown when her husband's job relocates them and is reunited with her large, eccentric family.
Although she is comfortable with her family's intrusiveness, constant arguing and impulsive behavior, Emily is aware that her husband is far less so.
Also cast in the pilot is Tinsley Grimes as Anne-Marie Karensky, the wife of Emily's brother "Little Max" Karensky, who has given birth to seven children in six years.
Alexander played Caitlin "Kate" Todd for two years on CBS' hit crime drama "NCIS." The actress, whose upcoming features include "Yes Man," "He's Just Not That Into You" and "Play Dead," is repped by Wma and D/F Management.

Boston Public star Chi McBride has been tapped to co-star in Fox's drama pilot Deviant Bahavior, Melissa Joan Hart is set to co-star in Fox's half-hour pilot Dirtbags, Tina Majorino has joined Peter Dinklage in ABC's untitled Dan Todd comedy pilot, and Chris Egan has landed the lead role in the WB Network's drama pilot The Prince. Meanwhile, Leslie Hope has come aboard ABC's two-hour drama pilot Commander in Chief in what would be a recurring role, and James Patrick Stuart and Tinsley Grimes have joined Chris Kattan in the Saturday Night Live alum's starrer at ABC. Deviant Behavior, from Regency TV, centers on a team that tracks serial killers. McBride will play a lieutenant on the team.
