Luiz Gonzaga was born on 13 December 1912 in Exu, Pernambuco, Brazil. He was an actor and composer, known for Cala a Boca, Etelvina (1958), Sai de Baixo (1956) and El gran espectáculo (1958). He was married to Helena Neves Cavalcanti and Odaléia Guedes dos Santos. He died on 2 August 1989 in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil.
