Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are saying goodbye to their television studio. The last episode filmed in the old studio was on Tuesday, April 1. It was an emotional day on the set. Not a dry eye was in the room.
The Final Show
This day has been coming. The couple announced that they were changing studios. The former studio, located in the Upper West Side, was the same studio where Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford filmed Live! The daytime talk show will move downtown.
Ripa and Consuelos didn’t take this change lightly. So many memories were made. Ripa joined the show in 2001 as Philbin’s co-host. After his exit in 2011, she co-hosted with Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest. Since then, the show has become a home to Ripa and her husband. Though Consuelos joined as co-host in 2023, the couple has made many memories there.

Add Jimmy Kimmel to the list of late night hosts who can’t stop talking about the group chat shared around the world. The ABC host didn’t hold back on Wednesday night, mocking the Trump administration and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, in particular, for adding the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic to a Signal group chat that shared sensitive information.
“Who could ever have guessed that the host of weekend ‘Fox and Friends’ would be bad at running the military?” Kimmel asked.
The late night host told his studio audience that Hegseth gave the Signal group a two-hour heads up on “every detail relating to the timing and scope of the attack, the weapons they were using — details that could have easily compromised the mission and endangered the pilots flying it if those texts had been hacked or shared with the wrong people.”
“This operation was as secretive as a ‘Fortnite’ Twitch stream,...

Over its nine-season run, Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David enjoyed corralling celebrities to play themselves on the groundbreaking NBC sitcom "Seinfeld." Who can forget New York Mets great Keith Hernandez getting accused of spitting on Kramer and Newman while also finding the time to romance Elaine ("I'm Keith Hernandez")? Or the time George asked Marisa Tomei out on a date before his deceased fiancée Susan had even been buried? And then there's Jon Voight, who once took a bite out of Kramer's arm in a taxi.
"Seinfeld" was delightfully random in its choice of celebrity cameos, but every single one felt like they belonged in the show's off-kilter universe. Hoda Kotb had a tearful sendoff Friday during her last day on Today, the NBC morning news franchise.
“Can I just say thank you? I haven’t been able to articulate it, because I’m a mess most times, but I just want to say thanks,” an emotional Kotb told her co-workers on-air. Today, as always, kicked off at 7 a.m. with Guthrie giving a somber recap of the news, which this morning revolved around wildfires in Los Angeles and President-elect Donald Trump being sentenced in a New York City criminal case.
Then the “Hoda-bration” began with Kotb, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Carson Daly and Craig Melvin on the Studio 1A couch at Rockefeller Center before a goodbye video package was played.
“If I don’t do this interview, does that mean she won’t leave?” Guthrie questioned into the camera at one point, before adding: “Hoda. I love you.

Stand-up comic Pete Lee was one of scores who lost their California home to the fast-moving wildfires ravaging the coast in Los Angeles. But rather than understandably excuse himself — as many of this week’s late-night TV guests have — from a scheduled Thursday-night appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he used his visit as a sort of humor-based therapy.
After Fallon shared before-and-after photos of where his guest was living, Lee acknowledged that “some people are going to be mad at me” for mining his tragedy, one of thousands in the Los Angeles area this week,...

This week, Elton John’s “Tammy Faye” musical closed on Broadway after only 24 previews and 29 regular performances. Although the show, about the rise and fall of televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker, concluded its run on Dec. 8 as the Rocket Man’s worst-performing musical in New York following blockbuster successes “The Lion King,” “Billy Elliot: The Musical,” and “Aida,” “Tammy Faye” is hardly the only original musical with a religious theme to shutter unceremoniously in the past decade-plus. With the notable exception of “The Book of Mormon,” with its nine Tony Awards and 5,000 performances and counting, audiences have been singing from a different hymn sheet than these faith-based offerings.
In 2010, John’s fellow Egot champion Alan Menken brought a musical adaptation of the Steve Martin film “Leap of Faith” to Broadway with Tony nominee Raúl Esparza as the show’s conman who poses as a pastor to swindle Kansas townspeople. Despite the...

The pair regularly appear on NBC as co-hosts of Today With Hoda & Jenna, an entertaining and informative program part of NBC’s weekday lineup with the Today Show.
Weeks ago, Hoda revealed she’d decided to leave the Today show after many years working for the morning show.
That makes each new episode extra special for Hoda, whether it’s a holiday celebration or one where she gets heartfelt comments from a guest celebrating her as a journalist and anchor.
For Halloween, she and Jenna chose to participate in the costumed fun again along with their Today co-stars.
And for their costumes, they chose a very famous pair from the classic blockbuster film Titanic.
