Is there a more apt name for a franchise than "Mission: Impossible?" While there are numerous film properties that are (impressively) still going after nearly 30 years or more, there are far fewer that've maintained a consistent level of overall quality during that period, let alone kept a single star at the helm with each installment. She also deduced that he had been moved into the Game Room, where the body had been found. The Residencemaintains its murder mystery until the very end. As all the major players settle into the Yellow Oval Room, there are still multiple suspects in the murder of A.B. Wynter (Giancarlo Esposito): the dubious “third man” Patrick Doumbe (Timothy Hornor), engineer Bruce Geller (Mel Rodriguez), and housekeeper Elsyie Chayle (Julieth Restrepo) all seem to be likely candidates.

The title for Tom Cruise’s eighth “Mission: Impossible” movie has finally been revealed, along with the first trailer.

“The Final Reckoning” is now the official title for “Mission: Impossible 8,” which was originally slated to be the “Part Two” to 2023’s “Dead Reckoning.” It’s scheduled to be released on May 23, 2025. The film originally was set for 2022, but was delayed multiple times by the pandemic and SAG-AFTRA actors strike.

Cruise revealed the title and a poster Monday morning, along with the caption “Every choice has led to this.”

In the action-packed trailer, Cruise scuba dives and explores a wrecked submarine, flies and falls out of a biplane and does a lot of running. Angela Bassett is also revealed to be back as CIA Director Erika Sloane, after she first appeared in “Mission: Impossible – Fallout.”

There's nothing more impressive than a spotless filmography, and while directors and producers have huge amounts of control over the artistic products they create, the same can't be said about every person that makes up the cast and crew. Actors, in particular, can't carry a film all alone and, therefore, can't be blamed if the final product is less than adequate. An actor can put forth an Oscar-worthy performance every time they step on screen, but it doesn't matter if the rest of the film isn't at the same level of quality.

Even though he is one of the premier stars of his generation, Henry Cavill has struggled to attach himself to critically acclaimed projects despite brilliant performances. It's unclear who is at fault in this situation. Some fans point the finger at his agent or the directors of the critically panned films, while others put the blame directly on Cavill.

Mission: Impossibles final entry, the sequel to Dead Reckoning, has had a very costly production with a budget of nearly $400 million. This makes it the most expensive entry in the franchise by well over $100 million. The 2023 Hollywood strikes contributed to the ballooning budget.

This news comes to us from The Hollywood Reporter. The sequel is due to see Tom Cruise reprise his role as Ethan Hunt for another epic adventure. The plot is expected to follow the previous film and have Hunt and his team find and defeat the A.I. called Entity. However, plot details have not yet been officially revealed.

However, an unnamed source has voiced their opinion in the press and is worried that Cruise isnt taking into account his age, to say nothing of all the variables that could go wrong during those jaw-dropping daredevil stunts the Oscar nominee continues to mesmerize audiences with. Tom Cruises appearance at the 2024 Olympics closing ceremony became one of the big talking points of the event, with the actor making a special and dramatic appearance to collect the Olympic flag and deliver it to its next destination of Los Angeles. Tom Cruise's flair for the dramatic will be on display on the world's biggest sporting stage. The Mission: Impossible 8 star is set to perform an epic stunt during the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Per TMZ, Cruise is crafting a major stunt to close out the ongoing summer games in Paris and hand over the Olympic flag to the 2028 edition, which takes place in Los Angeles. Sources claim Cruise will rappel down from the top of the Stade de France, land on the Parisian stadium's field and carry the Olympic flag. Additionally, the official Olympic TV feed will cut to a previously recorded film, with the film's first two minutes showing Cruise on a plane flying with the flag from Paris to Los Angeles, where he skydives to the Hollywood sign. The sign stunt was reportedly filmed in March, with images emerging of Cruise scaling it.

The Legion of Honor has 79,000 members, where around 300 foreigners and 2000 French citizens are bestowed the privilege of being a part of such an exclusive and honorable congregation. As revealed in new images from the filming of the action movie sequel, the next Mission: Impossible will find Cruise hanging from an upside-down plane, seemingly with no parachute, as he once again fights to save the world. The images show Cruise holding on for dear life as the small biplane tips upside down and leaves the action superstar dangling. A second pilot can be seen sporting a greenscreen suit, which suggests that they will be digitally removed for the sequence and Ethan Hunt will find himself alone and wondering exactly how he got into another death-defying situation.
