John Gardner was born on 21 July 1933 in Batavia, New York, USA. He was a writer, known for Nickel Mountain (1984) and Grendel Grendel Grendel (1981). He died on 14 September 1982 in Sasquehanna, Pennsylvania, USA.
In 1982, his novel, 'Grendel', was adapted as a stage play by
