Bruce Willis has been lined up to star in a new thriller film titled Extraction.
According to Deadline, the actor will play a former CIA operative who works with his son on the development of a super-weapon by the name of Condor.
However, Harry is forced to start a rescue mission when his father is kidnapped by a terrorist group.
The film is being directed by Submerged's Steven C Miller and produced by Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films' Randall Emmett and George Furla, as well as Tim Sullivan, Brandon Grimes and Gus Furla in the co-producer seats.
Shooting is expected to begin in Alabama from February 9.
Willis can currently be seen in Us cinemas in Brian A Miller's Vice and is set to appear alongside Bill Murray in Magic City's movie revival.

Exclusive: Bruce Willis is set to star in Extraction, a thriller directed by Steven C. Miller (Submerged) that begins shooting February 9 in Alabama. Umair Aleem wrote the script. It’s produced by Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films’ Randall Emmett and George Furla with Aperture’s Adam Goldworm. Efo is funding the film with Ingenious and Odyssey Releasing Media. The film will be released in the U.S. by Lionsgate/Grindstone through its multi-picture distribution deal, and Highland Film Group will sell it next month in Berlin. It becomes the seventh film Willis has made with Efo.

International commercials director Dario Piana has signed on to direct Snakeskin for Emmett/Furla and Avi Lerner's Millennium Films. The project, which is casting, is the story of a man who specializes in acquiring rare and unique antiquities for the highest bidder. He then gets a job hunting down a genetically enhanced ex-partner who has a stolen package that could forever change the balance of good and evil in the world. Paul Sloan penned the screenplay and will take a part in the film. Emmett/Furla toppers Randall Emmett and George Furla will produce along with Lerner and Millennium's Brad Jenkel. Gus Furla and Leo Amari, who brought the project to Emmett/Furla, will take executive producer credits. "We are very excited about 'Snakeskin, ' and we believe Dario's enthusiasm and creative energy will take this project to the next level," Emmett and Furla said in a statement. Added Jenkel: "Dario and I have discussed many projects for him (to direct). I am psyched he chose this project." Emmett/Furla and Millennium are also teaming on Blind Horizon, starring Val Kilmer and Neve Campbell, and Belly of the Beast with Steven Seagal, among other projects. Piana is repped by Broder-Webb-Chervin-Silberman and attorney Craig Emanuel. Emmett/Furla was repped by attorney Rick Rosenthal.
