Stan Erdreich began his career working for Chanticleer Films, a subsidiary of the Showtime Network where he quickly went from PA to Production Supervisor for the Showtime 30 Minute Movies. The company won two Academy Awards for best live action short films. Mr. Erdreich then matriculated to 20th Century Fox based Largo Entertainment under producer/mentor Lawrence Gordon and worked as a Creative Executive and later as Manager of Acquisitions and Development. Films produced during his tenure include: Malcolm X, Used People, The Getaway, Judgment Night, Predator 2, Point Break, Unlawful Entry, The Rocketeer, Boogie Nights, Waterworld, Timecop and Affliction.
After leaving Largo and moving to NYC, Mr. Erdreich went on to Co-produce The Death and Life of Bobby Z (Laurence Fishburne and Paul Walker), a Sony release with Millennium Films. He then co-founded Full Glass Films in 2005. The company raised financing, produced and or co-financed Gospel Hill (Samuel L. Jackson, Danny Glover, Angela Bassett, and Julia Stiles), A Perfect Fit (Adrian Grenier, Leile Acrieri) and The Insurgents (Mary Stuart Masterson, John Shea, Henry Simmons). He also managed the Full Glass Films-Fund, a vehicle for independent films that provided bridge, equity, debt and GAP financing. Following that tenure, Mr. Erdreich endeavored alongside Olive Productions partners and award-winning actors Stanley Tucci and Steve Buscemi to develop a slate of films as directing opportunities for these two iconic artists.
Through Mr. Erdreich's company River Bend Pictures, he works as a producer and consultant liaising with and representing blue chip entertainment properties seeking financing, packaging and development; including individual films, film slates, film funds, Broadway shows, and TV. Recent projects include feature films Son of The South, Sometime Other Than Now, Coming Through The Rye, Swing Low, Little Rootie Tootie, Filth, Machete Kills; adaptations of both feature films Ray and Ghost into Broadway musicals; an adaptation of the iconic film Breakfast at Tiffany's as a play. TV projects in the works are two one- hour dramas, Gloucestermen and A Good And Decent Man.
