Jack English is a photographer in the motion picture industry. With a background in fashion and music photography, English turned his
eye towards movies with Oldman's Nil by Mouth. Rather than capturing
straightforward stills, English saw this as an opportunity to create
abstract images of characters informed by their environments, thus,
labeling himself as a truly original on-set photographer.
English has since enjoyed success as the stills photographer on films
such as The Fifth Element, Joan of Arc, Tyrannosaur, and Tinker,
Tailor, Soldier, Spy.
Without pause, English continues to apply his exceptional perspective
to films throughout the industry.
Jack English is a member of IATSE Local 600 and has an 01 work visa for
projects in the States.
