David Eddings(1939-2023)

David was born in Columbia, TN but grew up in East Nashville. He was a graduate of Coffee County High School class of 1957. He worked for WTVF as a projectionist for 6 and a half years. He went to the police academy in 1964 and then retired as a Lieutenant with Metro Police Department in 2000; and was one of the original Newman Raiders. He was also a firearm and traffic instructor in the Police Academy.
David enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling in his motorhome with his wife, Barbara. In 1985, he was cast in the movie, Marie, which is based on a true story. He loved his dog, Rex, and his three cats. He loved his family but his favorite title of all was "Pawpaw" and "Grandpa." He was a Mason for over 50 years.
