Alesha Dixon has spoken about disagreements she has with her fellow Britain's Got Talent judges.
The singer said that she, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell have "healthy" debates about contestants, and added that it is "always done with love".
She explained: "Often an act may come onto the stage that Simon and I love, but Amanda and David don't, or Amanda and I might love it and the boys don't.
"We all have our areas that we are drawn towards but that makes it interesting because if we agreed on everything then it would be very boring.
"It's healthy to have debate about our different tastes. It creates a good balance, if you didn't have that then the show wouldn't be diverse enough. I love the little squabbles because it's always done with love!"
Dixon also joked about Holden's suggestion that they are planning to be naughty on this year's live shows.

Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will reprise their roles in "Toy Story That Time Forgot” For the 2nd Pixar TV special, airing Dec. 2, the gang will need the help of Trixie the triceratops as it faces a group of “dangerously delusional” action figures. Jan Hooks was a reminder of why “SNL” is at its best as a live show With the increasing focus on taped sketch shows like "Key & Peele,” “Portlandia" and "Inside Amy Schumer,” Hooks is a "reminder of what ‘SNL' could be at its best—a live show capable of becoming and taking on anything, depending on what the week calls for,” says James Poniewozik. "And for that, you need players like Hooks: versatile, game live performers who can disappear into a role. Performers like her are a kind of human special effect, creating the canvas on which the show replicates the world.” Plus: "She was totally amazing as a sketch player,...

Joss Whedon wrote and produced a sweet little supernatural romance for your geeky pleasure, and you don’t even have to pirate it: he released it instantly on Vimeo. I’m “biast” (pro): love Joss Whedon
I’m “biast” (con): nothing
(what is this about? see my critic’s minifesto)
Joss Whedon has a new movie. You cannot see it in theaters… but you can rent it right now, online, at Vimeo, from anywhere on the planet, for the ridiculously low price of five American bucks. Is it worth five bucks? It sure is. It would be worth twice that to see it on a big screen, but this is one of those little indie-style dramedies that hardly ever end up on big screens anymore. It has no superheroes, and it has no space cowboys.
What it does have are two gently, identifiably screwed-up 30-ish folks in Rebecca...

“We’re coming after you — all your clients — every single one we worked to make happy while you swept in at the last minute to take credit. We’re taking them. And then you know what you’ll have? A very nice suite of offices.”

Welcome to the Week #3 edition of the NFL Bottom Of The Barrel series, where we rank the three worst teams in the NFL. My We Got This Covered colleague Dave Gilbert and myself will be taking alternating looks at the top 3 (in the ever popular Cream Of The Crop series) and the bottom 3 teams in the NFL each week. Last week Mr. Gilbert ranked his Bottom Of The Barrel teams as follows;
30. Carolina Panthers
31. Cleveland Browns
32. Miami Dolphins
Carolina Panthers? The same Carolina Panthers that beat the New Orleans Saints 35-27 in week 2? Come on Dave don’t believe the hype, or in this case the non-hype. While Carolina did look bad in week 1, they still have one of the most electric play makers in the league in quarterback Cam Newton. That alone is enough to boost them above some of the real bad teams in the NFL.
And who...

The /Filmcast: After Dark is a recording of what happens right after The /Filmcast is over, when the kids have gone to bed and the guys feel free to speak whatever is on their minds. In other words, it’s the leftover and disorganized ramblings, mindfarts, and brain diarrhea from The /Filmcast, all in one convenient audio file. In this episode, David Chen, Devindra Hardawar, and Adam Quigley discuss why Adam and Dave don't watch trailers as often, remember movies that turned out differently than their directors intended, and try to figure out why everyone thinks everyone should love Toy Story 3. Special guest Greg Mariotti joins us from Pixar Talk. You can always e-mail us at slashfilmcast(At)gmail(Dot)com, or call and leave a ...
