Writer Producer Freddy Deane honed his storytelling skills working in Hollywood and New York City in movies, series television, commercials and theater. Freddy wrote and co-produced the Millennium Films thriller Den of Lions, starring Bob Hoskins and Stephen Dorff. He wrote, produced and acted in the indie feature Dirty Money which was hailed as "one of the best of the neo-noirs." Working in reality TV, Freddy wrote the series arcs, directed segments and produced episodes for Mark Burnett's prime time series The Casino and The Restaurant and Ben Silverman's Meet Mr. Mom.
Outside of Hollywood, Freddy built the eco-friendly, story-and-art-based brand Smiling Planet. His illustrations and stories won awards, brought Smiling Planet's product line to life, and connected with young and old around the world.
