A Virginia woman has been charged with murdering her son whose remains were allegedly found in a car she was driving more than 10 years after he went missing, People confirms. Tonya Slaton, 45, is charged with second degree murder in the death of Quincy Davis, according to an indictment obtained by People. The indictment charges Slaton with killing her son between July 24, 2004, and July 24, 2005. His remains were discovered in June 2015. Quincy would have been 14 or 15 at the time of his death, The Virginia Pilot reports. The paper also reports that the cause and manner of his death are undetermined, and that he was never reported missing.
