Helen Mirren Plays Courageous Golda Meir in ‘Golda’ Biopic Trailer
Image
Helen Mirren is transformed into blunt, stubborn Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir in the official trailer for Golda, director Guy Nattiv’s ticking-clock thriller recalling true events set during the tense Yom Kippur War in 1973.

Faced with Israel’s possible destruction, Meir engages in diplomatic brinkmanship with U.S. secretary of state Henry Kissinger, played by Liev Schreiber, in the feature from Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures set to hit theaters on Aug. 25.

“Remember I am first an American, second I am secretary of state and third I am a Jew,” a wary Kissinger tells Israel’s only female leader at one point in the teaser trailer that dropped on Tuesday.

“You forget in Israel we read from right to left,” Meir responds.

Golda had its world premiere in Berlin as it portrays the only woman in the Israeli cabinet becoming a surprisingly effective military leader after her country faced...

‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3: Did All of Rebecca’s Psychic Predictions Come True?
Image
Editor's note: The below contains spoilers for Season 3 of Ted Lasso.Ted Lasso's third season took many unexpected turns, but no character had quite as unexpected an end as Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham). Ironically, she is also the only one to have a set of predictions at the beginning of the season, which set up her plot. Rebecca visits a psychic named Tish (Emma Davies) at the insistence of her mother (Harriet Walter). Though Rebecca never expects anything to come from it, she agrees to go hoping to get Deborah off her back. Rebecca ends up storming out of the session calling Tish a fraud, leading the audience to discount what Tish said. Yet over the course of the season, the predictions weirdly come true. While they feel like nonsense, the fact that all of them occur in some way, shape, or form has to be more than a coincidence.

‘The Hustle’ Review
Stars: Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson, Alex Sharp, Ingrid Oliver, Emma Davies, Dean Norris, Casper Christensen | Written by Stanley Shapiro, Paul Henning, Dale Launer, Jac Schaeffer | Directed by Chris Addison

Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson star as a pair of rival con artists in The Hustle, a remake of 1988′s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (with Michael Caine and Steve Martin), which was itself a remake of 1964′s Bedtime Story, with David Niven and Marlon Brando. That might sound like a tantalising proposition on paper, but the actual film is a profound disappointment with an almost criminal lack of laughs.

Wilson plays low-rent Aussie grifter Penny Rust, whose regular scam involves fleecing gullible men she meets on a dating app. On a train to the South of France, she meets high class con artist Josephine Chesterfield (Hathaway), who immediately schemes to divert Penny from her home turf of Riviera town Beaumont-sur-Mer, on the...

Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson Scam the Hell Out of Rich Men in The Hustle Trailer
Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson in Glam Girls - Hinreißend verdorben (2019)
In the new trailer for The Hustle, Anne Hathaway adopts a posh British accent to play an experienced scam artist who takes Rebel Wilson under her very glamorous wing so they can scam a billionaire together - so, yeah, we're definitely seeing this.

The hilarious buddy comedy - which was originally titled Nasty Women and is a gender-swapped version of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - was directed by Chris Addison and focuses on seeing Wilson and Hathaway's characters taking down the men who have wronged them. Previously, the roles were played by Steve Martin and Michael Caine in the 1988 crime comedy. Fortunately, the latest iteration of the caper promises stunning views of mansions, diamonds, Hathaway's extensive collection of gowns, and plenty of physical comedy from Wilson.

Tim Blake Nelson, Alex Sharp, Ingrid Oliver, and Emma Davies also star in the film, which will hit theaters on May 10.

Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson Scam ‘Small-Minded Men’ in ‘The Hustle’ Trailer
MGM released a new trailer for The Hustle, a comedy starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson as scam artists teaming up to take revenge on the men who’ve wronged them. The film is a gender-bent remake of 1988’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Steve Martin and Michael Caine, itself a remake of the 1964 Marlon Brando/David Niven comedy Bedtime Story.

As seen in the Avengers-parodying teaser, Hathaway plays a posh Englishwoman alongside Wilson’s raunchier, low-class character. In classic buddy-comedy fashion, plenty of hijinks ensue around the characters’ differences, and...

Second Trailer for 'The Hustle' Starring Rebel Wilson & Anne Hathaway
"We're not nice women. We're con artists!" The Revenge is on! MGM has debuted the second official trailer for summer comedy The Hustle, playing off of The Avengers and the hype for that big blockbuster movie opening this week. The Hustle is a gender-swapped remake of comedy classic Dirty Rotten Scoundrels from 1988. In this one, Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway star as two "down-and-out" con artists, one low rent and the other high class, who team up to take down the dirty rotten men who have wronged them. The original movie involves the two of them participating in a secret "loser leaves town" contest to see who can out scam the other. This one also stars Tim Blake Nelson, Alex Sharp, Ingrid Oliver, Emma Davies, and Douggie McMeekin. An amusing trailer, not the funniest, but it's good. Hopefully the movie is better. Here's the second official trailer for Chris Addison's The Hustle,...

Anne Hathway helps Rebel Wilson master the art of the perfect con in the new trailer for The Hustle, set to arrive May 10th.

‘The Hustle’ Trailer: Rebel Wilson, Anne Hathaway As Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Rebel Wilson in Juliet & Romeo (2025)
Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway will give “dirty rotten men” a run for their money this spring – that’s the tagline in this new trailer for MGM’s The Hustle, a female-centric remake of 1988’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. That comedy starred Steve Martin and Michael Caine.

Directed by Chris Addison, with a screenplay by Stanley Shapiro & Paul Henning and Dale Launer and Jac Schaeffer, The Hustle stars Hathaway and Wilson as two con artists – “one low rent and the other high class,” says MGM – who team up to “take down the dirty rotten men who have wronged them.”

In the trailer, Wilson poses as a grieving sister seeking her missing sibling. “I’m here to find my sister. She’s been taken by men who sell hot white virgins to kajillionaires on yachts,” she tells a stranger on a train, racial specificity and all.

The Hustle is produced by Roger Birnbaum and Rebel Wilson.

Rebel Wilson & Anne Hathaway in First Trailer for Comedy 'The Hustle'
"Who's the mark?" United Artists & MGM have revealed the first trailer for summer comedy The Hustle, a gender-swapped remake of comedy classic Dirty Rotten Scoundrels from 1988. This one seems to twist that concept a bit, and move it to a different high roller town. Also starring Tim Blake Nelson, Alex Sharp, Ingrid Oliver, Emma Davies, and Douggie McMeekin. The original is a classic, and the way the two play off of each is brilliant. I'm not sure this one will live up to that, but it looks absurd enough. Here's...

‘The Hustle’ Trailer: Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson Are Taking Down ‘Dirty Rotten’ Men
Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway is moving on from box office dud “Serenity” with what should be a summer comedy hit thanks to “The Hustle.” MGM has debuted the first trailer for the comedy, which pairs the Oscar winner with “Pitch Perfect” favorite Rebel Wilson for a female-powered “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” remake.

“The Hustle” stars Hathaway and Wilson as “female scam artists, one low rent and the other high class, who team up to take down the dirty rotten men who have wronged them,” reads the official synopsis. The supporting cast includes Alex Sharp, Tim Black Nelson, Ingrid Oliver, and Emma Davies. The script was written by Jac Schaeffer and it was her launching pad to getting an even bigger gig, as she’s now writing Scarlett Johansson’s standalone Black Widow movie for Marvel and Disney.

“Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” released in 1988, famously paired Steve Martin and Michael Caine. Both Hathaway and Wilson...

Stars: Kirsty Averton, Nicky Henson, James Rose, Lindsey Campbell, Matthew Neal, Sophie Barker, Tom Cox, Euan Macnaughton, Simon Hepworth, Emma Davies | Written by Mick Sands | Directed by Tom Sands

The idea of subliminal messages in the media or used as a weapon have always been the thing of the paranoid mind. There is a possibility of course that they are real, and we are all being controlled. The Holly Kane Experiment is a movie that looks at the possibility of a successful method for subliminal messaging being created, then used for a very dark reason.

Holly Kane (Kirsty Averton) is a psychologist looking for funding for her experimentation into reprogramming the subconscious mind. When she finds herself on the wrong end of a malpractice suit she finds herself agreeing to work for Marvin Greenslade (Nicky Henson), whose funding leads her down a path where she begins to worry about her own sanity,...
