- He was a volunteer Safer Sex educator for Aids Project Los Angeles for 2 years.

- While still acting he was the only one of 200 kids chosen from a Philadelphia open audition for Robert DeNiro's, "A Bronx Tale". He spent the day auditioning with DeNiro and knew from that moment that he wanted to be in the business.

- During his research for the pilot, "Missing, Bring them Home" he was shocked to learn the statistics on missing and exploited children in the US. Since then he has been an advocate for missing kids. It was one of the reasons he was interested in producing the Damian Harris film, "Gardens of the Night". He is currently developing other projects which bring focus to this subject matter.
