The second season of Netflix’s “The Ultimatum,” featuring an all-queer, mostly female cast, is coming very soon.
“We’ve already filmed Season 2. We’re in edit on Season 2 right now,” Chris Coelen, executive producer and CEO of Kinetic Content, tells Variety. “It’s really exciting. I am deep, deep into post [production] on the show now, and it’s great.”
Ahead of the April series premiere of the series, which follows six couples on the verge of marriage who must decide to fully commit or move on, the show was renewed for a second season.
Along with Coelen, Eric Detwiler, Sarah Dillistone, Stephanie Boyriven, Kelly Montalvo and Chris Cullen serve as executive producers.
“It’s based in a very real, relatable conversation and situation for many, many people — either you’ve been in that situation or you’ve known people who are in that situation,” Coelen previously told Variety of how the show came about.
