The multi-talented comedian kept a serious expression in the snap. He was wearing sunglasses, a leather suit, and patent-leather dress shoes.

Steve’s brown leather jacket and pants were custom-made by Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria, an Italian term roughly translated as “high-level tailoring.”

Steve’s fashion stylist, Elly Karamoh, also shared the Instagram post captioned “Season 27...

‘Family Feud’ Fans Appalled Over Contestant’s Ridiculous Answer
Image
Fans are frequently surprised by the on-air blunders made by contestants on Family Feud. Recently, an answer to a survey question in relation to musical instruments had viewers rushing to social media to weigh in, appalled by what the contestant said. So, what had fans so shocked? Keep reading to find out.

Fans Lose Their Minds Over Contestant’s Answer

Earlier this week, Family Feud shared a clip on YouTube that received some backlash from fans. Steve Harvey asked the contestant to “name a musical instrument people strum.” Typically, you would think of harp, guitar, or bass.

One contestant, Melanie, responded, “A drum.” Surprisingly, host Steve Harvey didn’t seem to be floored by the answer. He is often stunned silent by the answers some of the contestants on Family Feud come up with. Of course, the answer wasn’t up on the board, but it did earn Melanie plenty...

‘Family Feud’ Steve Harvey Stunned Silent By Contestant’s Answer
Image
Steve Harvey is no stranger to being surprised by contestant’s answers on Family Feud. The host has frequently been stunned silent by what people on the show have to say and, more often than not, he is speechless when the crazy answers are actually on the board. What is the latest answer that has Steve scratching his head? Keep reading to find out.

Steve Harvey Is Shocked When An Answer Appears On The Board

Normally, when Steve Harvey hears an answer he is shocked by, it doesn’t appear on the board. However, that isn’t always the case. During Friday’s episode of Family Feud, the contestants were asked to name something bars should give drunk customers for free.

A contestant named Cedric was quick to answer, replying, “More alcohol.” Placing his flashcards down for a minute, Steve Harvey looked stunned. He simply stared at Cedric for a...

Family Feud: Steve Harvey Syndicated Game Show Renewed Through 2025-26
Family Feud is staying on the air in syndication. The game show, hosted by Steve Harvey, will remain on television through at least the 2025-26 season. This renewal will take the series to its 50th anniversary year.

Created by Mark Goodson, the Family Feud game show premiered in 1976 with Richard Dawson as host on ABC in primetime and in first-run syndication. The show ended in 1985 and was revived in 1988 with Ray Combs hosting. That version ended in 1995 (Dawson returned for the final year). A new syndicated iteration debuted in 1999 and the hosts have included Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, John O'Hurley, and, since 2010, Harvey.

5 Unforgettably Strange Moments From The 2013 Daytime Emmys
(Source)

The best award shows have their dubious moments, and the 40th annual Daytime Emmy Awards — which Snicks lovingly liveblogged last night– simply teemed with unexpected and bizarre moments that brought the best (and weirdest) out of many presenters. I also enjoyed planned hilarity like Kathy Griffin‘s presenter speech, in which she quoted four lines of nutty dialogue from nominated soap operas and Betty White‘s tribute to the late game show producer Bob Stewart. But here are five wacky moments I’m still thinking about.

1. Carrie Fisher’s wild introduction to the Best Animated Show category is inspiring, drug-fueled, and maybe poetic.

Carrie Fisher, the goddess who once composed my favorite tweet of all time (and I quote: “Oh BiPolar the way I’m on Letterman tonight w/ my peers Rihanna & Zac Efron pray 4 me”), introduced the Best Animated Show category. Struck me as apparent that she was...

Kurt Russell Week Goes Overboard With Your On Duty Host, Brobocop!
Overboard (1987)

Starring: Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Edward Hermann

Writer: Leslie Dixon

Director: Garry Marshall

Review By: Eric King

Story:

A super hot/super bitchy heiress dumps workin’ man Dean Proffitt off her boat after he does a job that doesn’t meet her satisfaction. Later that night, she falls off the boat herself and suffers from amnesia. Her husband basically says “Fuck it! Party time!” and leaves her at the hospital. So, Dean develops a plan of revenge by convincing her that she’s his wife.

Review:

I wanna start off here by saying I am greatly appreciative to be given the privilege of bringing the sappiness to The Liberal Dead‘s Kurt Russell Appreciation Week. I jumped on this boat pretty late in the game, and Shawn Savage forewarned me as soon as he handed out the invitation that most of Russell’s iconic roles had already been taken.

Richard Dawson Of The Running Man Dead At 79
Actor, game show host Richard Dawson has passed away. According to TMZ, Dawson’s son, Gary Dawson, initially broke the news on Facebook:

“It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my father passed away this evening from complications due to esophageal cancer. He was surrounded by his family. He was an amazing talent, a loving husband, a great dad, and a doting grandfather. He will be missed but always remembered…”

A fan favorite, The Running Man wouldn’t have been the same without Dawson’s spot on portrayal of evil host Damon Killian. One of our readers says it best, “He was awesome on Family Feud and no less than iconic on Running Man. He Made that movie! Throwing him a T.V. kiss for the journey home. Rip Mr. Dawson.”

The 8 Best Game Show Hosts of the 1980s
8. Chuck Woolery ("Wheel of Fortune," "Love Connection," "Scrabble"): Chuck Woolery was the original host of "Wheel of Fortune," but lost the gig to the smarmy wet blanket, Pat Sajack, after a salary dispute. Almost all of Woolery's episodes have been permanently lost, as NBC had a habit of wiping tapes to save money.

Where Is He Now? The man is over 70, so he's not doing much. His most recent show was "Lingo" on Gsn, which ran from 2002-2007. I don't know where it aired, but in 2003, there was also a reality show that tracked Woolery's daily life.

7. Ray Combs: ("Family Feud"): Combs started out as a warm-up act for sitcoms, including "Amen." He had very little experience when he was selected, but Combs was behind the revitalization of the show, after replacing Richard Dawson. However, after six years, Richard Dawson replaced Combs again. Combs last words on "Family Feud,...

Fantastic Fest Diary Day 5: Golden Slumber, Stake Land, Fantastic Feud, and the Awards
Days tend to blend together at a film festival. Thursdays feel like Mondays, a Saturday can feel like a Wednesday and so on. So the fact that Day Five of Fantastic Fest 2010 fell on a Monday only mattered when battling school buses in traffic. It still meant getting up early to secure tickets, a late morning nap, and then movies, movies, movies. In reality, though, Monday only brought two films: Yoshihiro Nakamura’s Golden Slumber and Jim Mickle’s Stake Land, before it was time to award the best films of the fest and feud it up. Hit the jump for all the details.

Golden Slumber

If The Fugitive was given a serious shot of nostalgia, it would be Golden Slumber. The latest film from director Yoshihiro Nakamura (who also did Fest favorite Fish Story) tells the story of a pseudo celebrity who is framed for killing the Prime Minister of Japan.

Celebrity Family Feud: Will It Be a Big Success or Three Strikes?
Joining NBC's "All-American Summer" line-up, another classic game show is being pulled into primetime -- with a celebrity twist. Hosted by The Today Show's chipper weatherman, Al Roker, Celebrity Family Feud hits the airwaves tonight. Each week, four celebrity families will go head to head in an attempt to win $50,000 for their favorite charities.

The original Family Feud was hosted by smooth-talking Richard Dawson (Hogan's Heroes). It ran for 10 years before ending in 1985. The game show pits families against one another a they try to guess the most popular answers to survey questions. Later incarnations have been hosted by Ray Combs, Dawson, and funny men Louie Anderson and Richard Karn (Home Improvement). The older versions air on Gsn and Ion in reruns while the present version, hosted by suave John O'Hurley (Seinfeld), is currently being produced for first-run syndication.

The idea of using celebrities for the game isn't a new one.
