- Jean Claudric was born on September 13, 1930 in Alger, France. He is a composer, known for Divine (1975), Les patates (1969) and Mina Tannenbaum (1994).
- In 1964, 1965, and 1966, Claudric was the musical director of the Grand Gala des Variétés. Moreover, he conducted the orchestra in the first four editions of the Marché International du Disque et de l'Edition Musicale (MIDEM) manifestation in Cannes (1967-1970).
- Jean-Claude Bacri was born into a Jewish family in Alger, the capital of what was then French Algeria.
- He taught himself to play the old piano which his mother had inherited.
