Phoebe Fox was born in to an acting family, the daughter of actors Stuart Fox and Prue Clarke. When she was a young girl, she got to see her mother play Cinderella. “I was seven or eight and couldn’t get over the fact my mom was Cinderella,” she says with a laugh. “To me, it just seemed like the best job, playing make-believe.”
After attending the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (Rada), Fox soon made a name for herself onstage in plays like “A View from the Bridge” opposite Mark Strong and films like “Eye in the Sky” and “The Aeronauts.”

Robin Hardy's long-awaited sequel to his cult 70's horror flick 'The Wicker Man' arrives on DVD and Blu-ray this April. Anchor Bay will be releasing 'The Wicker Tree' onto disc stateside from the 24th April. The follow-up was helmed by returning director Robin Hardy and worked from his own novel 'Cowboys for Christ'. Graham McTavish, Honeysuckle Weeks, Brittania Nicol, Clive Russell, Henry Garrett, Ailidh Mackay, James Mapes, Keith Warwick, Keira McMillan, Jacqueline Leonard and Prue Clarke all star along with the returning Christopher Lee. In additional 'Wicker' related news the on-location pub used in the original movie back in 1973 is up for sale for 200,000 ($316,000). Sadly however it doesn't include a naked Britt Eklund (below)....

Earlier this week we were treated to the first official one-sheet for Robin Hardy's 'The Wicker Tree', the long-awaited sequel to 70's horror supremo 'The Wicker Man'. And the wickery wonder doesn't end there as FearNet have revealed a new -look trailer for the follow-up which is based upon Hardy's own novel 'Cowboys for Christ'. Graham McTavish, Honeysuckle Weeks, Brittania Nicol, Clive Russell, Henry Garrett, Ailidh Mackay, James Mapes, Keith Warwick, Keira McMillan, Jacqueline Leonard and Prue Clarke. Robin Hardy's classic horror fare 'The Wicker Man' was something quite special for the genre. Mr Hardy has returned to write and direct the feature adaption of his book Cowboys for Christ which serves as the long overdue sequel to the 1973 original. The movie, now known as 'The Wicker Tree', will arrive in theatres from 27 January 2012 thanks to Anchor Bay Films and Dread Central have premiered the new one-sheet. The sequel stars Graham McTavish, Honeysuckle Weeks, Brittania Nicol, Clive Russell, Henry Garrett, Ailidh Mackay, James Mapes, Keith Warwick, Keira McMillan, Jacqueline Leonard, Prue Clarke and features Christopher Lee ('The Resident') star of the original.
