Following the recent successful theatrical runs for Raman Hui's Monster Hunt and Dong Cheng Peng's Jian Bing Man, Australian distributor Magnum Films will next be releasing actor / director Xu Zheng's Lost In Hong Kong. It is the follow-up film to the massive 2012 hit Lost In Thailand, which was the highest grossing local film at the Chinese box office until it was recently dethroned by Monster Hunt (now the all-time box office champion at the Chinese box office). Starring Xu himself and Zhao Wei, Lost In Hong Kong is set to become the next Chinese mega-blockbuster. Thanks to Magnum Films, we have Five double passes to give away to our readers. For a chance to win, all you have to do is to follow these two steps:1)...

Warning: Don't keep reading if you'd like to remain unspoiled as to the pairs figure skating results from the 2014 Winter Olympics. The competition will be part of NBC's primetime broadcast Wednesday (Feb. 12), starting at 8 p.m. Et/Pt.
It was expected that the gold medal fight in pairs figure skating would come down to the German pair of Aliona Savchenko/Robin Szolkowy and the Russian pair of Tatyana Volosozhar/Maksim Trankov (pictured above), but two costly falls by the Germans let the Russian pair take gold and dropped the Germans down to bronze. Another Russian pair, Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov, earned silver.
The U.S. pair of Marissa Castelli/Simon Shnapir finished in ninth place and the other U.S. pair of Felicia Zhang/Nathan Batholomay came in 12th, both respectable skates for the Team USA pairs.
This is the first time since 1998 that there will be two Russian...

Warning: Don't keep reading if you want to remain spoiler-free on the figure skating results from Tuesday (Feb. 11). They will be part of NBC's primetime coverage this evening starting at 8 p.m. Et/Pt (hosted by Matt Lauer, as Bob Costas has been sidelined with an eye infection).
With the team figure skating competition complete at the 2014 Winter Olympics, the skaters are looking to their individual competitions. Kicking things off Tuesday was the pairs short program -- short and long programs are combined to determine the medal standings.
The Russians dominated the pairs short program, earning the first and third spots with a German pair in between. The U.S. pair of Marissa Castelli and Simon Shnapir (above) finished in 9th place, but they scored a 67.44, which was more than three points higher than the same program scored in the team competition. Their previous performance of this routine featured several bobbles,...

Warning: Don't keep reading if you would like to remain spoiler-free for the team figure skating opening competition, the men's short program. It will be featured in primetime Thursday (Feb. 6) on NBC.
The men launched figure skating at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics Thursday with the short programs that will count toward the new team figure skating event. The scoring is done the same way as in the individual competition, but then for the team score, each man is ranked 1-10, with first place earning 10 points, second earning nine points and so forth.
U.S. skater Jeremy Abbott (above, left) wasn't the favorite to finish first, but he was expected to do fairly well. That's not what happened. He earned the lowest score he's received in competition in years after a fall and then turning a couple triple jumps into a double and a single.
