Tejasswi Prakash’s Naagin Took Bad & Loose Inspirations From Avengers Villain Thanos(Photo Credit –YouTube/IMDb)
Indian television has often been called out for blatant copies of films and lifted plots. However, all hell broke loose when Ekta Kapoor revolutionized Indian television with her supernatural drama Naagin in the past decade. Initially, the first season starred Mouni Roy, and the series started a chain of daily soaps with shape-shifting animals.
Right from a shape-shifting mongoose to a shape-shifting spider, Indian television has seen it all. But it touched the breaking point when it started lifting scenes from Hollywood films.
A clip from Naagin has now surfaced on the internet where the lead actress, Tejassswi Prakash, is seen fighting the villain. Abruptly, in this badly edited scene, Thanos’s hand appears with the infinity stones. This viral clip will make you cringe and laugh hard at the same time.

‘Bhagyalaxmi’ and ‘Naagin 6’ fame Aditi Shetty has shared how she was initially auditioned to play the female lead in ‘Pyaar Ke Saat Vachan Dharmapatni’, but later was asked to portray a negative lead.
She told Ians: “I was approached for Pratiksha’s role and I auditioned for the same but right after that I got a call that Ekta ma’am wants me to play a negative lead in the show. I didn’t even ask a second question because I felt like okay, this is something absolutely different from what I’ve been doing. I have that image of bubbly, sweet, cute, so I thought that this would be a perfect way to, you know, explore more, and to also understand what I’m capable of. When the story was narrated, I felt like the character was super strong. There are a lot of shades of this character.

Veteran actress and dancer Sudha Chandran, who hosts the TV show ‘Crime Alert’, feels the journey of a TV anchor has been very enriching for her.
This is the first time she is part of such a show, and while she is loving, the subject is quite challenging for her.
“This is a new genre for me. Being the anchor and the face of ‘Crime Alert’ was very challenging. After I started anchoring, I realised the volume of crimes taking place in the country. Unless you’re not personally affected, you usually don’t dwell into these things. But when I narrate the crimes, it’s a shocking and emotionally draining experience because I go through the agony that the victims and their family members have gone through,” she said.
Sudha is remembered for her roles in ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’, ‘Naagin’, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ and ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’, among others.

Mumbai, March 5 (Ians) "Raag", a film close to the heart of late Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, is all set to hit theatres on March 26.
"During the pandemic, we lost Saroj ji. She was the backbone of our project. Right from helping us in finalising the story to choreographing to suggesting an item number for the film to casting one of her favourite students -- Heena Panchal -- for the same, Saroj ji helped us a lot. Despite all our earnest efforts the film could not be released while she was around. We are now releasing it on 26th March 2021, and it is our tribute to the noble soul," producer Piyush Mundhada said.
"It is also the first work of the late choreographer to release in theatres posthumously. Had she been there, she would have been very proud of the same," he added.
Renowned choreographer Saroj Khan passed away in July last year.

Film: "Ameerin Aadhi-Bhagavan"; Actors: Jayam Ravi, Neetu Chandra, Sudha Chandran, Saiju Kurup, Baby Antony, Karuna and Sakshi Sivanand; Director: Ameer Sultan; Rating: ***
One recurring question that constantly keeps ringing in our heads as we watch "Ameerin Aadhi-Bhagavan" is that why did Ameer spend nearly three years on this project. The answer to this question lies in the execution (read writing) of this film, but not in its making. It may come across as just another mistaken identity international thriller, but with deft writing, Ameer makes it an engaging watch with extended running time. Finally, does "Ameerin Aadhi-Bhagavan" live up to all the hype it created? Partially yes, but there are far too many lose ends left unattended.

Kolkata, April 24: Sudha Chandran, a TV actress known particularly for her negative roles in daily soaps does not regret having a recognition like that. She honestly confesses that it was the television that came to her rescue when she had no work and it gave her recognition at the time of crisis. She finds television addictive for two main reasons.
Firstly they connect the audience strongly with the story line as it is faced by all in their real lives some way or the other. Secondly they give all something which is totally fictional and yet holds us on with their catchy unreal-ism. She believes that it was Ekta Kapoor who changed.

Dancer-actress Sudha Chandran has been replaced by Kunika Lal in Zee TV’s ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’. She has been dumped because of her ‘irresponsible’ behaviour.
According to a source, Sudha used to go for out-of-town trips after confirming her presence on the sets.
‘Sudha had been creating havoc on the sets with her highly irresponsible behaviour and unprofessional attitude. You certainly do not expect a senior artiste to behave in such a way and we are tired of having to deal with it hence it’s been decided to replace her,’ said a source from the channel.
