- (2012, 2014 & 2016) Stage play: Red Velvet written by Lolita Chakrabarti premiered at The Tricycle Theatre, London transferred to St Anne's Warehouse New York and then played London's West End at the Garrick Theatre in Kenneth Branagh's season. Red Velvet has had numerous productions across the world.
- (1992) She acted in Ultz and Cummings adaptation of "Dragon," at a Royal National Theatre in London with Tony Armatrading, Christopher Campbell, Martin Chamberlain, John Cobb, Dhirendra Kaleb Gumbs, Mark Heap, Alex Langdon, Vicky Licorish, Paul J. Medford, Mark Saban, and Bill Thomas in the cast. Ultz also directed.
- (2017) Lolita is a writer and is developing work for the stage, BBC, ITV and film.
- (June/July 2019) Lolita adapted Yann Martel's Life of Pi for the stage. It premiered at The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield to 5 star reviews
