- She performed at the Central Theatre, Passaic (NJ), on March 5, 1943. The Theatre's double feature program, a stage performance supplemented with a film, included the screening of Thru Different Eyes (1942).
- One of her appearances at Pittsburgh's The Beverly Hills Club was reviewed by 'Variety', a weekly entertainment publication, on its May 7, 1947 issue: "No.1 attraction still remains Alzira Camargo (...). When Miss Carmargo bursts into one of her Brazilian ballads, the enth-e room seems to catch fire.".
