Guests Please Stop Destroying Sets and Props At The Parks! This Time The Muppet Labs Table Had To Be Removed.
Image
There is a big problem plaguing Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and that problem is guest destruction. The latest victim of abuse seems to be the Muppet Lab prop table that was on display in the Odyssey for the Brewing Lab at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.

It seems that the table has been removed, and reports indicate that guests trashed it.

The table was located behind tape meant to indicate it was off limits. However, this did not stop guests, mostly children, from destroying the piece.

They already took away the prop table at the Muppets Lab because guests ripped it up? Holy crap. pic.twitter.com/6Hn6NSbfac

Read Danny Masterson Victims’ Statements From Sentencing: “Our Lives Were Destroyed”
Image
“What makes this situation even more distressing is the defendant’s refusal to acknowledge the gravity of his actions, not just to me but to so many,” said Jane Doe #1 in her victim statement at Danny Masterson’s September 7 sentencing on multiple rape convictions.

“He’s not shown an ounce of remorse for the pain he caused me,” the former Scientologist known as Jen B added in often-tear-filled remarks last week, as Deadline reported, about the April 25, 2003 assault in the That 70s Show actor’s then Hollywood Hills home. “Instead, he chose to laugh at my suffering and the horrors I told him about. To compound matters, he utilized our shared faith, our community, our religion to cover up his crime and silence me.”

Standing at a podium just in front of the full public gallery, Jen B. was the last Jane Doe to speak at the hearing that saw...

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis Apologize for Danny Masterson Letters, Say They Were Written at Family’s Request (Video)
Danny Masterson
Finding themselves in hot water in the aftermath of Danny Masterson’s sentencing on charges of rape, his “That ’70s Show” costars and real-life couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have apologized for writing letters supporting Masterson’s character and requesting leniency from the judge.

In a video posted to Instagram on Saturday, Kutcher explained that the “character letters,” as he called them, were written at Masterson’s family’s request.

Kunis said, “The letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the judicial system or the validity of the jury’s ruling.”

“We support victims,” she added.

Danny Masterson was sentenced Thursday to the maximum 30-years-to-life in prison for raping two women in 2001 and 2003.

Danny Masterson sentenced to 30 years in prison after being found guilty of rape convictions
Image
With his trial concluded, That 70s Show star Danny Masterson has been sentenced to 30 years in jail for multiple rapes. The sentence, handed down by LA Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo, passes the maximum sentence onto Masterson for his crimes. Masterson chose to remain silent during Thursday’s court session. However, Judge Charlaine Olmedo spoke to him directly about a “criminal justice system that you feel has failed you,” saying, “You are not the victim here …your actions 20 years ago were criminal.” After serving his time, Masterson must register as a sex offender, per the details of his punishment. As Masterson exited the courtroom, his wife, Bijou Phillips, and other family members quietly wept.

Today’s results come after Masterson was found guilty by an LA jury three months ago on two of three counts of sexual assault. The rapes transpired two decades ago, and the actor was granted 150 days credit for time already served.

Danny Masterson To Be Sentenced On Rape Verdict In August; Incarcerated Actor Faces 30 Years In Prison – Update
Image
Update, 10: 15 Am: Facing up to 30 years behind bars for being found guilty last month of two counts of rape, Danny Masterson will be sentenced on August 4.

A week after an LA jury delivered its partial verdict, Judge Charlaine Olemdo announced the sentencing date today at a downtown hearing.

Taken away in handcuffs on May 31 at the conclusion of his sexual assault retrial, the That 70s Show actor is currently being held in custody in “administrative segregation” in the LA County Men’s Central Jail. Defense lawyers have indicated they will appeal last week’s verdict. However, as of today, no appeal has been filed.

The criminal trial panel was deadlocked on count 3 of the initial charges. That count concerned prominent Scientologist Masterson’s former long-term girlfriend and ex-Scientologist Christina B a.k.a. Jane Doe #3., who testified in both the first trial and the retrial. “I am devastated that...

Danny Masterson Rape Retrial: Frustrated Judge Puts Defense & Prosecution On Notice That Things Will Be Different This Time – Update
Image
Updated, 3:08 Pm: “Please don’t ever tell me to hold on,” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo snapped at Danny Masterson’s lead lawyer Phillip Cohen in a remarkable moment Monday afternoon over the defense’s opening statements in Masterson’s rape retrial.

With the jury sent out of the courtroom suddenly less than half an hour into Cohen’s remarks, Olmedo made it clear to all in the full courtroom that this trial was not going to be run like the last one last year.

“The court is not going to allow the parties to go into the weeds,” the judge said sternly to both the defense and the prosecution Monday as the same problems that slowed down the previous five-week trial began to emerge. Pledging no sidebars and other occasions that could eat up time in the retrial, Olmedo got to a place today that it...

Danny Masterson Rape Trial: Jane Doe #3 Spotlights Scientology’s Alleged “Terror Campaign” Against Victims
Image
Updated with afternoon session: A Los Angeles police officer testified Thursday during Danny Masterson’s rape trial that while didn’t remember the specifics of an initial meeting with Jane Doe #1 in 2004 at the LAPD Hollywood station, he did take her claims about being attacked by Masterson in his Hollywood Hills home in April 2003 “to be a sexual assault.”

The testimony by the then-front desk officer, Alexander Shlegel, corroborates the testimony the alleged victim gave last week and came on a day when Scientology again came to the fore, with another Masterson accuser detailing the church’s alleged “terror campaign” against her fellow accusers.

Under questioning by Deputy L.A. District Attorney Reinhold Mueller for the last part of today’s hearing, Shlegel confirmed that Jane Doe #1, aka Jen B, said she was attacked by Masterson on April 25, 2003, answering the prosecution’s queries with frequent glances at his report of nearly 20 years ago.

Danny Masterson Rape Trial: Jane Doe #3 Testifies That Scientology Blamed Her For Alleged 2001 Assault; Still In “Fear” Of Church, Witness Says – Update
Image
Updated with more testimony and details : “She had told me not to use the word rape,” a visibly shaken Jane Doe #3 told a downtown Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday in the Danny Masterson trial. “She explained to me that you can’t rape someone you are in a relationship with,” the witness added of a late 2003 conversation with a Scientology executive at the church’s Celebrity Centre in Hollywood.

Recounting her recollection of the meeting with Scientology ethics officer Miranda Scoggins over 20 years ago, Jane Doe #3, aka Cb, told Deputy LA District Attorney Reinhold Mueller today that Scoggins also said to her that “I had done something to cause it …we’re all responsible for the condition we’re in.”

“She explained to me there was no crime committed and she put me on an ethics program,” Cb, who was Masterson’s longtime girlfriend at the time, said on the stand.

Danny Masterson Trial: Jane Doe #1 Says Scientology Officer Told Her To Leave “R-Word” Out Of 2003 Assault Report; Marty Singer Will Testify, Judge Says
Image
Updated with trial ending for the week: Scientology and the passage of time both played a role in testimony from Jane Doe #1 in the closing hours of Friday’s hearing in the Danny Masterson rape trial.

Culminating her stint on the stand that lasted most of this week, the witness testified about what she was instructed by a Scientology executive to leave out of a report about an alleged sexual assault by the That ’70s Show actor in the spring of 2003.

Danny Masterson Rape Trial Sees Jane Doe #1 And Defense Spar Over NDA Payout, More – Update
Image
2Nd Update: “I couldn’t believe it, I didn’t want to believe it,” a crying Jane Doe #1 told a downtown Los Angeles courtroom in the Danny Masterson rape trial Thursday afternoon, about a phone call she had with Masterson soon after the defendant allegedly sexually assaulted her in April 2003. The That ’70s Show actor had told the witness that the two of them “had sex” after she beseeched him “what happened?”

Throughout the afternoon, Jane Doe #1/Jen B was often in tears under cross-examination — even more so than in her testimony earlier this week. The court had to break at one point for a short period around 2:20 p.m. Pt and the jury was sent out of the room because of the severity of her distress.

2Nd Update: Jane Doe #1 on Wednesday afternoon testified that “everything hurt so bad” in the aftermath of an alleged second rape by Danny Masterson in April 2003, as she continued on the witness stand in Masterson’s rape trial in downtown Los Angeles.

The post-lunch session also revealed that Jane Doe #1, known also as “Jen B,” was paid 400,000 in installments after signing a non-disclosure agreement, effectively squelching a report she had made to the LAPD in 2004.

Danny Masterson Trial Puts Spotlight on Scientology, Judge Objects: ‘The Court Is Disappointed’
Danny Masterson
Despite all attempts by defense attorneys – and the judge – to ensure that Scientology would not be on trial in the criminal rape case against former “That 70s Show” actor Danny Masterson, the Church loomed large in both opening statements and early witness’ testimony Tuesday.

Masterson’s attorneys argued in pretrial motions to keep his religion out of the trial, and the judge agreed that the Church should only be brought up when talking about why the alleged victims – also Scientologists – took years to report the assaults. But once the trial got rolling, that all went out the window.

Several of Masterson’s family members sat in the public gallery, including wife Bijou Phillips, his mother Carol, and his sister Alanna and brothers Chris and Jordan. Dressed in a blue jacket, white shirt, navy tie and grey pants, an unmasked Masterson clenched and unclenched his fists as several members of the public filed in.

Scientology Showdown Dominates Danny Masterson Rape Trial; Alleged Assault “Felt Almost Incestuous”, Tearful Witness Tells Court – Update
Image
2Nd Update, 4:15 Pm: Danny Masterson’s alleged rape of a then-fellow Scientologist “felt almost incestuous,” a downtown L.A. courtroom was told this afternoon during the trial of the former That 70s Show and The Ranch actor.

Also, yet again, the defense today requested a mistrial based on how Scientology has been referenced so far. That request was quickly denied by Judge Charlene Olmedo.

After a long day of contentious opening statements, at the very end of today’s hearing lawyers for the defense and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office faced off in front of Judge Olmedo about the role of the Church of Scientology in the case. With the organization obviously at the core of the prosecution’s case, defense attorney Phillip Cohen said he had “no understanding of the nexus or purpose” of policies of the church being brought up in the trial.

Danny Masterson Goes on Trial for Rape as Scientology Looms in the Background
Image
At a pre-trial hearing in the Danny Masterson rape case last week, Judge Charlaine Olmedo laid down a basic ground rule.

“This is not going to become a trial on Scientology,” she said.

But the role of the church will nevertheless be a key theme in the trial, which begins with jury selection on Tuesday. Masterson, the 46-year-old former star of “That ’70s Show,” is facing three charges of forcible rape and a possible sentence of 45 years to life.

Masterson is a Scientologist, and all three of his accusers were members of the church at the time of the alleged assaults. Olmedo has indicated that she will allow some testimony about Scientology and its practices, especially to the extent that it helps explain why the accusers delayed going to the police — for two of them, by more than a decade.

At a preliminary hearing in May 2021, all three said they...
