Impressionist, most famous for her Margaret Thatcher impersonations. This is most notable and memorable during 007: Sólo para tus ojos (1981)

Was first asked to impersonate Mrs. Thatcher by TV presenter Eamonn Andrews.

Being a famous Margaret Thatcher impressionist, since the mid-80s, she became a good friend of Bernard Ingham, Thatcher's chief press secretary during her time as prime minister.

Her autobiography title, "Prime Mimicker" (1986), is a direct reference to her Margaret Thatcher's impersonations. In the book, she tells about her life since childhood in Rutherglen until her celebrated experience as Mrs. Thatcher's double in the 80s.

The inscription on her gravestone, shared with husband Peter Butterworth, reads "Life is real and death is the illusion".

Although as a Margaret Thatcher's impersonator she had to be satirical, she was in fact a supporter of the Conservative Party, having voted for Mrs. Thatcher.
