Well, it's another week on Project Runway and another challenge that will bring out the best and worst in the designers. Hopefully no-one over a size 4 will come in, or else poor Ven might have a meltdown. In any case, this week's task, as Heidi announces at the runway, will see the contestants... find out from Tim over at Lord & Taylor in midtown. Well, that was silly. At the flagship stop, Lord & Taylor president Bonnie Brooks stands with Tim as they reveal that the designers will need to create a cocktail or evening dress that will fit in with a collection which consists of pieces from past seasons of the show. The winning dress will go into production and be sold at the shop and online, and will also be featured in the store window. Sweet deal. The dresses will need to be able to be produced for between $$200 -...

This week’s Project Runway found the nine remaining designers tackling the “Push Everybody to the Brink of Emotional Collapse” challenge. Sonjia and Elena wound up sobbing as though someone had snuck into Parsons in the middle of the night and used the Lord & Taylor Accessory Wall thoughtlessly and haphazardly. Melissa scrapped her dress and started a new one with, like, 11 minutes left in the workday. The competition is getting tougher, as the contestants compete for a chance to have a design sold in Lord & Taylor! Read on for Michael Costello's hysterical recap as he takes us through all the drama from last night. Fabio is happy about being on the top when the episode opens. Chris was looking forward to having the apartment to himself, but not quite yet -- even if you do flip your hair like Cher! We also discover that Sonjia is not only a silk chiffon hater but a man hater as well. As Heidi asked the designers if they were tired yet, Christopher gets worried and yells, "Oh No." (Hello Heidi, by the way. Looking lovely as always). For this challenge the designers meet Tim Gunn at the Lord and Taylor flagship store, along with the lovely Bonnie Brooks, President of Lord and Taylor. The challenge is presented as...

The pressure was certainly getting to the designers on this week's episode of "Project Runway." Their task this week was to design a dress that could be featured in a "Project Runway" 10th anniversary "capsule collection" from Lord & Taylor. Their design would not only appear on the store's website, but also in their Fifth Avenue location in New York.
"It is no wonder quite a few designers appear on the verge of a nervous breakdown," wrote Gossip and Gab. This is the kind of opportunity that can make or break a career. To make matters worse, the guest judge for the week was Lord & Taylor president Bonnie Brooks.
Elena struggled to fit her creativity into something that people would actually want to wear. She said she has no interest in making wearable clothes, so this simply isn't her challenge.
But she made it work and even earned top marks, alongside three other designers: Fabio,...
