He was born and raised in the Bronx borough of New York City. He served in the United States Army during World War. After the war, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from City College of New York City. He was a high school teacher and a speech writer for the Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Gluck; their two children, Eric Breslin and Andrea Breslin-Jaffe; and four grandchildren.
He had homes in Paris, France and in New York City.
His publicity clients included singers, Dame Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Dame Joan Sutherland, Marilyn Horne, and pianist, Alicia De Larrocha.
