5ive's numbers have dwindled over the last few years, but not anymore. Self-proclaimed superfan Jack Whitehall and retired cricketer Freddie Flintoff have joined their ranks.
The pair will take to the stage for a special performance with the boyband on tonight's (May 29) episode of A League Of Their Own.
When the boys start discussing what is on their bucket lists, Whitehall admits that he's always wanted the chance to perform with the '90s boyband, prompting a special visit from remaining members Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, and Scott Robinson.
5ive were the subject of a particularly inventive April Fool's Day joke this year, when it was reported that they were joining forces with Blue to form supergroup Flue.
The boyband quickly dashed fans' hopes by confirming it was just a prank, but they didn't seem against the idea of performing with Blue in the future.

You'd think that a documentary about a former 5ive rapper living on a farm would be on ITV2, but it's actually been picked up by BBC Two.
Abz Love has let cameras capture what it's like to swap pop for farming in a new series on the channel later this year.
Country Strife: Abz on the Farm will follow the ex-boyband member and his partner Vicky Fallon as they live and work on a farm in rural Wales.
The documentary will see how Abz and his girlfriend enjoy a daily routine of mud, rain, livestock and vegetable planting on a tight budget.
Abz said of the show: "Moving to Wales was a complete shock to the system - the house, the chickens, the horses, the foxes, the cats, the splinters, the leaks, the grass, the gates, the fence, the rain. This being said, I have met some wonderful people with...

A League of Their Own is looking like a rather healthy panel show. The Sky1 sports palaver has wormed its way well and truly into viewers' hearts, and it's now back for another series with James Corden, Jack Whitehall, Freddie Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp.
We sat down with the guys to find out what we can expect from the new series, whether James is quitting for the Us, and whether we'll see Neil Ruddock in pants again (what do you think?) Read on for all the gossip...

"This is the series I've enjoyed the most," James said. "I just think the shows we've done have been really good. I said to my wife the other day, 'I'm enjoying this so much it shouldn't be allowed to be called work'. That's the absolute truth. I think we've done some really fun things and good guests.

During an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side to be aired tonight (January 7) on Channel 5, Hopkins slates every housemate apart from controversial comic Jim Davidson.
In the episode, Hopkins says of Linda: "Boring old woman! Probably smells of wee. She is revolting. Her knockers are somewhere near her ankles."
Meanwhile, Blue's Lee Ryan is labelled "out of shape, not beautiful" and "unfit and greasy", while Dappy is supposedly "'just revolting". Hopkins adds of the N-Dubz singer: "I'm not one for short people, ginger people or fat people."

The 23-year-old star of MTV series Geordie Shore told CBB presenter Emma Willis that she thought Lauren Harries was going to win instead.
Crosby repeatedly exclaimed "I can't believe it", before telling Willis that she assumed she was disliked by the public.
The reality TV star also said that she didn't believe her behaviour was "acceptable" in the house, after she was seen drinking heavily, falling out of bed, breaking wind and wetting the bed.
"I just can't believe it, because I thought everyone hated us because I was so unladylike," Crosby explained.
She also revealed that she made close bonds with Carol McGiffin, Louie Spence and Mario Falcone in particular while in the house.
On Falcone, Crosby said: "He was just like my brother, we had such a laugh," while vowing to stay in touch with him after the show.

Celebrity Big Brother comes to a conclusion this evening and six stars are still in with a chance of winning the Channel 5 reality show.
After weeks locked up together, the six famous faces can soon get back to their days jobs (getting drunk, singing '90s pop tunes, whatever it is Lauren does) and never speak to each other ever again.
But who will take home the series crown?
5ive popstar Abz Love is the bookies' tip, but he faces strong competition from Geordie bedwetter and wild child Charlotte Crosby.
The ever-understated Lauren Harries and shrinking violet Carol McGiffin can't be ruled out as contenders either.
Soap star Vicky Entwistle and Towie 'hunk' Mario Falcone look like longshots, merely making up the numbers at this stage of the competition.
Celebrity Big Brother: The Live Final starts tonight at 8.30pm on Channel 5. Emma Willis will host the show.

Louie Spence and Courtney Stodden have become the latest housemates to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother.
The two left the house this evening (September 11), with Courtney first out after receiving the fewest votes from the public.
Courtney told Emma Willis: "Yay! I'm out! I'm not gutted, I'm so proud of myself for making it this far.
"It's so hard to predict who was going to go, but I was hoping I was going to leave! I'm thrilled and overjoyed and so proud of myself."
Louie seemed pleased to leave the house and exited to cheers from the crowd. He told Willis: "I don't know what the public see, but I really struggled.
"I found it really difficult being with those people. I thought it would be really easy but it's not. It's a mental task. It's endurance."

Celebrity Big Brother housemate Vicky Entwistle has pledged to leave the UK if Charlotte Crosby wins the show.
The soap actress dubbed the Geordie Shore star a "talentless fat slag from Newcastle" who didn't deserve to be crowned the winner.
She said: "Her talents are getting her tits out and shagging someone. If this is what people want I'm off to Spain."
A row erupted yesterday (September 9) after the housemates were tasked with choosing who would receive letters from home.
Vicky and Louie Spence had to decide whether Charlotte or Abz Love should get their letters or have them shredded.
After they chose Abz over Charlotte as she has "had plenty of love" already inside the house, Charlotte called Vicky "a stupid gremlin".
She shouted: "Stupid f**king bitch doesn't have a clue what she's talking about. I wish I had never come on here. I hate it here.

Bruce Jones was selected by the task generator to repeatedly slap himself in the face with a wet fish, and Abz Love had to eat scotch bonnets while wearing a bonnet.

When we celebrated David Bowie's 65th birthday last year, we never would have dreamt of what would happen 12 months on. Back from the (as good as) dead, Db returned with The Next Day and we're only just getting over the shock.

ITV2's Big Reunion has been the best TV show of 2013 so far. Full stop. Every 'serious' drama, oh-so-dull crime procedural and glossy Us import has paled in comparison to the explosive fall-outs and grisly secrets of the British pop industry of the '90s.

911 have predicted that Jason 'J' Brown will regret snubbing The Big Reunion.
The 'Bodyshakin' boyband have made a comeback on the ITV2 show, along with Brown's former band 5ive, B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, Liberty X and Blue.
Brown decided not to join up with his former bandmates Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Abz Love and Scott Robinson on the show.

Spike Dawbarn revealed that Brown was never a fan of being part of 5ive, and even turned down the chance to join 911 in the mid-1990s.
He said: "Jay never wanted to do it the first time. My cousin used to go out with him, so we know each other and I was asking her about it and she said, 'I've spoke to him.

5ive popstar Ritchie Neville has revealed that he had a fling with a Steps band member - Lisa Scott-Lee. Currently making the most of a revival for ITV2's The Big Reunion - which has seen Liberty X, 911, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched and Honeyz get back on stage - he told Heat about his former fling. When asked about his relationship with Scott-Lee, he said: "I'm not going there," but his bandmates described it as "a full-on f**kfest".

Get this: Boy bands New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, and Boyz II Men are joining forces for a national tour called The Package Tour (mmm, Jonathan Knight, give it to us!), and I assume they're planning on calling their giant supegroup NKOTBIIM98DEGREEZ or something equally catchy. I picture mashup medleys called things like "Please Don't Go, Girl, While I'm on Bended Kneee (Una Noche)" and "I'll Make Love to You Step by Step, Which is the Hardest Thing." I'm already whooping and dropkicking several pairs of panties at the stage.
But I think this gives us an important chance to think about the boy bands who aren't a part of this magical reunion tour. Here are my five candidates for groups who should reunite and tag along with NKOTB2M98D. Some of these picks are disturbing, but that's the price I pay for reporting real journalism.

Boyband 5ive have got together to make a video for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The group, who are taking part in ITV2's The Big Reunion, quizzed members of the public on all things five. Ill have to admit Im not surprised at the most recent tween debate. I remember my intense hatred for Nsync when I was in middle school. Not because I actually had good taste in music at the time. No no simply because I loved the Backstreet Boys so much. One cannot live while the other survives. Or at least thats what I thought. So now in a world that is once again full of teenyboppers who are the real competitors? Evidently its High School Musical vs. Twilight nowadays.nbspIll admit that I saw both High School Musical 3 and Twilight on opening weekend. Ive seen all three HSM movies and Ive read all four Twilight books. I may be all grown up but Im still a tween at heart. Lets put all loyalties aside though and truly try to figure out who is the better teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson or Zac Efron?...
