C’mon get happy! In the 1970s TV series The Partridge Family, a group of musical siblings shoot to fame thanks to a catchy single and head out on the road with their mom. The show, which aired from 1970–74, was a pop culture phenomenon and made stars out of its young cast, including David Cassidy and Susan Dey.
Sadly, life after The Partridge Family wasn’t so kind to all the show’s actors. While some had successful post-show careers in Hollywood, others struggled with personal issues. Others dropped out of the spotlight altogether. Here’s a look at The Partridge Family cast and which stars are still alive.

Danny Bonaduce’s Brain Surgery Was a Success, ‘Partridge Family’ Star Expected Home Soon, Agent Says
Danny Bonaduce’s brain surgery was a success, his agent Paul Anderson told TMZ on Tuesday.
The “Partridge Family” star, who was recently diagnosed with hydrocephalus, had a stent and a drainage port put in to relieve the pressure on his brain. Ahead of the surgery, Bondaduce said he hoped it would restore his ability to walk.
“From what I hear, if the diagnosis is correct, it’ll be 50 percent better right [away]. But I’d rather be safe than sorry. I don’t wanna get my hopes up too much that I’ll be cured … I will be completely bummed out if this doesn’t work. I can’t walk currently, I just can’t,” he said.

Danny Bonaduce, an actor who played Danny Partridge on the 70s television series The Partridge Family, is scheduled to undergo brain surgery on Monday to restore his ability to walk.
Last spring, Bondauce took time off from his radio show, The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show, to receive medical attention for a condition that left him using a cane to walk. He was later diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a neurological disorder caused by a buildup of fluid that increases pressure on the brain.
In an interview with TMZ, Bonaduce explained that the surgery will consist of a stent and drainage port being placed in his brain to eliminate the fluid and relieve the pressure. “From what I hear, if the diagnosis is correct, it’ll be 50 percent better right [away]. But I’d rather be safe than sorry. I don’t wanna get my hopes up too much that I’ll be cured.

Fans are sending their best wishes to Danny Bonaduce after the Partridge Family alum revealed he’s getting brain surgery. Bonaduce told TMZ in an online interview on Friday, June 2, that he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus — an accumulation of fluid in the brain’s ventricles — after months of trouble talking and walking. “I can’t walk currently,” he said. “I just can’t.” The actor doesn’t know how he developed the neurological disorder, but he speculated that it might have stemmed from the time he took a guitar to the head on a reality TV show or from his 2009 boxing match with former MLB star José Canseco. So on Monday, June 5, the 63-year-old will have a shunt put in his head, and he’s hopeful the operation will alleviate his symptoms. “I’m never gonna run track, I’m never gonna box again, but if I can get from...

Actor and radio host Danny Bonaduce will undergo brain surgery next week in hopes of curing a long-standing health issue.
Bonaduce, age 63, was a beloved member of TV classic The Partridge Family before moving on to reality shows like Breaking Bonaduce. He currently hosts The Danny Bonaduce & Sarah Morning Show on iHeart Radio.
Bonaduce dropped out of his radio show for two months last year because of his health, but kept talking to doctors even after returning.
He told TMZ about his condition, claiming his brain felt “fuzzy.” But the medical teams couldn’t decide on what the issue was. Finally, one provided a diagnosis of hydrocephalus, a fluid buildup on the brain.
“I can’t figure out what caused it, ’cause I’ve done so many stupid things on reality TV shows,” he said to TMZ. “I took a guitar to the head. That hurt, and was possibly the cause of all this.

Danny Bonaduce is keeping his head up. Two months after taking a medical leave from his radio show to focus on his health, The Partridge Family actor is opening up about his mystery illness for the first time. "I couldn't walk at all," he said on the June 27 episode of Good Morning America, noting that wife Amy Railsback noticed something was off with his speech. "She looked really nervous. Ethan Hawke, in 30 years, has never played a flat-out villain before, so it would be nice to say that in “The Black Phone” he not only plays a serial killer — one of those anonymous madmen who live in a one-story house of dingy brick with a dungeon in the basement — but that he makes something memorable out of it. His mask is certainly disturbing. Hawke’s character, who is known as the Grabber, is a kidnapper of teenage boys, to whom he presumably does unspeakable things. He drives a black ’70s van with the word Abracadabra written on the side of it, and when he pops out of the vehicle to yank his victims off the street, he’ll be wearing a magician’s hat or carrying some black balloons. But it’s not until we see him in his home element that we take in the full hideous grandeur of that mask,...

Considering they're the best-known cryptids in history, the humanoids known variously as Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Yeti, the Abominable Snowman and so forth don't get much respect in modern cinema. While thousands of hours of film and video have been dedicated to these elusive man-beasts, there's something about the big dude that makes it nearly impossible for filmmakers to take him seriously, or even tell a semi-competent story about him. It's certainly not for a lack of trying; there have been nearly a hundred Bigfoot and Yeti movies released since the '50s. Old-fashioned giant monster romps, found-footage and slasher entries, feel-good family dramas, romantic comedies... even porno flicks. So why are nearly all of them so damn goofy? Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy these insane interpretations; in fact, the crazier they get, the more I dig 'em. So to honor this dubious cinematic legacy, here are two dozen of...

As we’ve seen here in the first few weeks of 2014, the landscape of the horror genre is absolutely flooded with found footage movies, and we primarily have two movies to thank/blame for that; The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity.
While 1999’s Blair Witch Project is often credited as the first horror movie made in the Pov found footage style, such a claim is actually quite untrue. Though Blair Witch is no doubt the movie that popularized the style, and Paranormal Activity the one that re-invented it and brought it into a new decade, there were actually a handful of found footage films that came out well before the horrifying tale of the witch in the woods.
Here are seven of those handheld horror movies, which all predate The Blair Witch Project!
