Teen Wolf started its season four finale off by flipping the script on the Scott (Tyler Posey) that we know and have become quite fond of over the last four seasons. Scott has always been a character who defied the odds, and even tonight when they were unevenly stacked against him, he came out swinging – literally.
Scott became the elusive True Alpha through sheer willpower (unlike the other Alphas that viewers have been introduced to over the years who bought their position of power with death, either intentional or accidental). Scott is always one of the most optimistic members of the cast, but he’s also historically the one with the largest target painted on his forehead (thus the highest amount to be paid out in the deadpool) – and was clearly number one on Kate’s (Jill Wagner) list when she laid all her chips on the table.

Teen Wolf is officially back for the second half of season three, and fans can expect a slightly different pace going into it. The focus hasn’t entirely veered away from Miss Blake (Haley Webb) and her super psycho revenge plot against the Alpha pack, but I think we can safely assume that things have come to an end for her character. Kali (Felisha Terrell) may not have finished her off the first time around, but Peter (Ian Bohen) certainly doesn’t believe in leaving any loose ends.
Instead, gears have shifted away from the cause and fast-forwarded toward the effect. Scott (Tyler Posey), Allison (Crystal Reed), and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) are now paying the unfortunate price for being heroes. If Teen Wolf has taught us anything, it’s that death is merely an obstacle. This wasn’t the first time we saw someone on the show cheat it,...

Thank goodness that the "Teen Wolf" summer finale isn't the end of Season 3 -- instead, "Lunar Ellipse" simply marks the last of the new episodes for a few months. Then "Teen Wolf" will return in January for more craziness and shirtless young men.
Considering the teases and cliffhangers we have been left with at the end of this summer finale, that is a very, very good thing. Waiting a full year might be impossible.
So what happened? What did it all mean? The answers (such as they currently exist) are below:
Back to the beginning
While the start of this "Teen Wolf" evokes thoughts of a 1968 Cream song (look it up, kids), the appearance of the nemeton -- that funky druid tree stump -- quickly takes us back to the beginning.
I mean, the very beginning. We're talking about the beginning of the "Teen Wolf" series premiere. As it turns out,...

Ordinarily, this would have been the episode of Teen Wolf that set us up for the big season finale in typical ‘to be continued..’ fashion. That was before the show received a season order with twice as many episodes as its previous two seasons. Yet, curiously, they still appear to be following the same formula.
With half the season still left, I can only guess that in the next episode, unlike what we’ve come to expect, the story won’t wrap itself up quite so nicely – thus, giving us another twelve episodes to appreciate Teen Wolf for the dynamic show we’ve become intent on swooning over.
We’ve seen a few overlapping storylines over the course of the season, and they all appear to be coming to a head. The sacrifices being committed by the Darach – who we recently learned was Derek’s (Tyler Hoechlin) girlfriend, former-emissary to...

After death, horror and a Stiles kiss, "Teen Wolf" Season 3 is coming to its summer finale. The episode, "Lunar Ellipse," promises the possibility of death, fighting and lots of other problems. Check out the sneak peek video for more.
What does this video tell us (or at least hint at) about the "Teen Wolf" summer finale?
Lydia is going to scream. Whether or not this is what Miss Blake wanted from her all along is not clear.Unless it's a flashback, there is an image of Stiles in action (right before a tree comes crashing through what looks like a hospital window). Thus, he's not dead -- not that this was likely.Scott and Allison seem to be okay too (although the brief look at Allison doesn't show her being happy)."The guy that calls himself 'Death, Destroyer of Worlds,' we're gonna trust...

Some episodes of "Teen Wolf" don't have a lot of action. Those episodes are made up for by ones like "Alpha Pact." In one single hour, the following things happen:
Scott dies. Allison dies. Stiles dies. Ms. Morrell dies (probably).Lydia kisses Stiles.Scott's dad returns to town. The plans start to come together nicely.
It's amazing and thrilling and chilling and wet and wild in all the best ways. Now you can relive it all in this recap!
They broke the hospital
No matter how bad things are, no episode of "Teen Wolf" can be all bad if it starts with Stiles slapping Derek repeatedly. The news isn't good though: Scott is gone, Cora is still sick, and Jennifer is rapidly adding parents to her sacrifice collection.
Also, the hospital is a big mess. Everyone scatters -- but not before they see the name "Argent" written in red paint across the elevator doors.

There’s a lot to say after Teen Wolf dropped that gigantic bomb on us at the close of last week’s episode. We now know that Derek’s (Tyler Hoechlin) new girlfriend moonlights as the murderous, possibly (er, probably) psychotic Darach. Unfortunately, most of that extended commentary will have to wait for a post-season retrospective because tonight’s episode left us with more than enough to say.
Teen Wolf has consistently been a solid show, but now that MTV has given it a full 24-episode season we are finally getting to see an arc that isn’t limited by such strict time-constraints. That boost in time is most likely to thank for why this episode was, in my opinion, the most intense one we’ve seen to-date.
I think we can all agree that there have been some memorable moments over the past two and half seasons, but nothing...

How many sides are there at this point on "Teen Wolf"? There are the good guys, of course. Then there is the Alpha pack. Now we have Jennifer Blake, the sacrifice-happy darach. And you never know which side the Argents are on, right?
It's all very confusing by the time we get to "The Overlooked."
There's a crazy storm happening in Beacon Hills. This is making the hospital something of a mess. As usual, no one is in charge except the long-suffering and industrious Nurse McCall. But even she can't keep up with so much trouble, which leads to Cora Hale getting ignored.
At least we get a fun encounter between Mrs. McCall and Peter Hale. Remember how they dated back in Season 1? Talk about awkward ...
Denial ain't just a river in Egypt

To say that the most recent "Teen Wolf" ended on a cliffhanger would be an understatement. So what comes next? Spoilers for the next few episodes of Season 3 have at least a few answers.
What are the big questions left at the end of "The Girl Who Knew Too Much"?
Miss Blake is the evil druid (slimy monster skin and all), but what exactly is her game plan?Where did Blake and Sheriff Stilinski disappear to at the end of the episode? What's up with Lydia being a banshee? And was she still in the room when Scott and Stiles broke in?Why is Cora so sick? Is one little fight going to kill her?How exactly is Deucalion mixed up in all of this?
Unfortunately, even official descriptions of the next three "Teen Wolf" episodes don't add too much knowledge here. But it's a start!

The cat (er, wolf) is out of the bag on this episode of Teen Wolf, but things don’t exactly go according to plan.
There’s been some debate between Scott (Tyler Posey) and Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) lately about filling the Sheriff in on all the behinds the scenes happenings. As much as Stiles was against it, the opportunity presented itself again on tonight’s episode of Teen Wolf and he just couldn’t postpone the inevitable any longer.
It’s ironic that Miss Blake (Haley Webb) put the idea in Stiles’ head to look at the entire board, considering what we now know about her. Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) may have...

This episode of "Teen Wolf" is all about the reveals. By the end of "The Girl Who Knew Too Much," the audience knows the identity of the darach and the sort of creature Lydia is. Sheriff Stilinski, meanwhile, finds out a whole lot about what's been going on.
It's all very satisfying.
Never go in that school alone, people of "Teen Wolf"
"The Girl Who Knew Too Much" begins, like so much of the show, with a person walking alone through the empty hallways of Beacon Hills High. It's Sheriff Stilinksi's deputy, and she's investigating a 911 call there. Although Danny and the rest of his random recital people turn out to be there too, that's not the main worry.
What is? That would be the evil druid. Creepiness begins with walkie-talkie chanting. It increases with shadows and scratching noises in the locker room.
But the height of creepiness happens when...

We’ve seen Teen Wolf use flashbacks to move the story along before, but this episode took that concept to another level. ‘Visionary’ gave us a brand new perspective on what it means to be Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin).
With every broody supernatural being we encounter it seems inherent that there is a super-sappy back story to go along with them. We’ve seen it in The Vampire Diaries with Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), and before that with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in Twilight, and pretty much with every related character since even before television and film existed.
This episode didn’t break down Derek completely, but it did give us a little more information to go off of. Before this we only had a vague sense of his character’s motivations. We could only assume that his prolonged teen angst was a result of a childhood abruptly cut short...

“Sweetheart, my last boyfriend was a homicidal lizard, so I think I can handle a werewolf.”
On this episode of Teen Wolf, our heroes were forced to makes some difficult decisions that left everyone feeling butterflies in their stomach.
Teamwork is a big part of this show and tonight we saw it in full-force when all the good guys converged in order to save both Derek (Tyler Hoechlin) and Dr. Deaton (Seth Gilliam). Unfortunately, the combined efforts of our favorite Beacon Hills werewolf club wasn’t enough to save everyone. Derek and Dr. Deaton managed to make it out of their respective predicaments, but not without a handsome price being paid.
It hasn’t been long since the pack mourned the loss of Erica (Gage Golightly), who up until this point we thought was just another casualty of the bank ploy. Now the pack has lost another member. Boyd (Sinqua Walls...

In its first two seasons Teen Wolf pulled off some pretty spectacular storylines, and now we are finally getting a taste of what the show can do with twice as many episodes and half the rush.
There were some great moments on this episode of Teen Wolf, starting with a teacher that obviously hasn’t learned her lesson. Last week we saw Beacon Hill’s newest English teacher, Miss Blake (Haley Webb), find herself in a very wrong place at a very wrong time. Fortunately for her, she came out of it physically unharmed and with a real-life tragic hero to boot. And I’ll just go ahead and say what so many viewers were thinking, Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) can save me anytime!
The ominous music and preposterous empty hallway 20 minutes before school starts aside, Miss Blake and Derek’s face time was actually pretty sweet. If these two...

"Fireflies" continued on a confusing Teen Wolf streak, as we had two relatively separate stories going on at once and the gang trying to connect them.
On one side of town, Scott, Derek and Isaac were tracking Boyd and Cora; while on the other Lydia's body was being used as a beacon of sorts to find a dead body, leading Stiles to get involved with the murders they at first thought to be werewolf related.
As things heated up in town, Scott turned to an unlikely source for help: Allison's dad. Mr. Argent was reluctant to help at first, but when he realized what Boyd and Cora were capable of, he couldn't let all of his training go to waste. Neither could his daughter. They worked autonomously, but without their help Cora and Boyd wouldn't have been captured.
Things I'm really enjoying this season include Scott's mom and how easily...
