Alan Ritchson is a fan-favorite actor and a muscle-packed behemoth getting more popular every day. Ritchson cracked the jackpot to forge his name with Prime Video’s hit show Reacher, and secured several movie projects including Fast X, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, and a few more but his goal remained the same— to be the next Batman.

It is unsure if DC’s James Gunn and Peter Safran or Warner Brothers will respond to his call alongside the fans on the internet but he has been Batmanesque in his real life as well. Ritchson is particularly vocal about injustice and corruption as he often raises awareness for it. Now, the actor has voiced against former United States President, Donald Trump joining a long line of celebrities who have shared their utter dissatisfaction against Trump.

Exclusive: Wiip has snapped up rights to Adamtine, a horror graphic novel by award-winner Hannah Berry, to develop for film.
Returning to his feature roots after exec producing HBO’s Emmy-winning miniseries Mare of Easttown, as well as its political drama White House Plumbers, Mark Roybal will produce alongside wiip’s Paul Lee and Nate Winslow. Berry will serve as an executive producer.
In Adamtine, four strangers on the last train home, all with their own connections to a serial killer, are stalked by a sneaking, shapeless evil with nowhere to run. It’s the second graphic novel from Berry and was published in 2012. The deal with wiip was brokered by Berry’s rep, Emma Topping, of Viv Loves Film.
In a statement on the acquisition, Berry shared that Mare of Easttown is one of her “favourite series of the last ten years,” and she therefore “could not have asked...

Josh Richards is looking for laughs. The influencer and one-time Sway House member is the creative force behind Read The Room, a sketch series that will be distributed across its star’s social channels.
The first season of Read The Room includes seven episodes, with the first installment premiering on November 7. Each episode includes multiple sketches, with Richards taking leading roles in many of the bits. The multiplatform star produced Read The Room through CrossCheck Studios, the “Gen Z media company” he established in 2021. He is also handling distribution through his hubs on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.
The Read The Room logline claims that “no topic is off limits” as Richards skewers pop culture, the creator world, and more. The formats on display will range from parodies to short films to musical numbers, with Richards demonstrating his “fast-paced, absurd” approach to comedy.
Though Richards is the main attraction in Read The Room,...

The Notebook could’ve been a much different film if Britney Spears starred in the film opposite Ryan Gosling. Spears’ audition tape for the leading role of Allie has been shared online and the casting director for the movie says she beat out many of the top young actresses of the time.
“Britney beat out several of the top female actresses at the time. Scarlett Johansson, Claire Danes, Kate Bosworth, Amy Adams, Jamie King and Mandy Moore auditioned for this role. Britney beat out all of them. Everybody who was anybody that year wanted this part,” casting director Matthew Berry told the Daily Mail.
Barry said that the singer “wasn’t just good — she was phenomenal” in the role. In the audition tape, Spears reads the lines for Allie during a pivotal scene where the fictional character reveals she has plans to marry another man. Spears slowly starts tearing up...

There was a third Crocodile Dundee film? Really? Was Crocodile Dundee In Los Angeles any good?
Yes there was. Honestly, yes. No, not particularly.
I think we might have all been understating the cultural importance of the film Crocodile Dundee. It’s sort of mandatory that you do, I think, if you value your sanity. In 1986, when the film came out, it was a massive success at the box office. It grossed $174m in the Us, making it the second highest grossing film of the year, taking just $2m less than Top Gun. The films writers, including Paul Hogan, were nominated for an Oscar. As much as I think Crocodile Dundee is a fun film, that’s a lot to take in.
In the 1980s, the box office charts looked different to the charts of today. Where now multiplex listings are dominated by brands and superhero films with wince-inducing budgets,...

If Last Man Standing gets a fifth season pickup by ABC as expected, the comedy will have a new showrunner. Last week, in the wake of Eddie Huang's complaints that he felt ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" was distorting and softening his childhood experiences, this column examined how hard it is for any biographical or autobiographical sitcom to be true to the life of its source and still be a crowd-pleasing primetime network entertainment. You'd think, after decades of trying, TV writers and network programming executives would be aware of this.
Nonetheless, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the networks have no fewer than ten such sitcom pilots in production, as the first episodes of potential 2015-16 primetime series. Some are based on the lives of already famous entertainers, some on the self-referential stand-up comedy routines of not-quite-famous comics, and some on memoirsts who've lived interesting lives.
Here's a rundown of these pilots, with a look at who these shows are about, who's starring in them, what the series might be like,...

NBC and Fox have both unleashed their Fall 2011-2012 TV schedule, now ABC has released theirs. I’m excited to see Castle, Modern Family, and The Middle back in the mix. Most of the new shows they have line-up don’t really interest me, but there are a few that have caught my eye. PanAm is another 1960’s based TV show that will go against AMC’s Mad Men and NBC’s The Playboy Club. There’s a show called Revenge that sounds really interesting, but the new series I’m most excited about is is the fantasy series Once Upon A Time, a show where fairy tales collide with the modern day.
Here is ABC’s full schedule along with a description of all of their shows. Go through them below and let us know what TV series you’re most excited about seeing.

On Wednesday I got the opportunity to be in the press pen for the European Premiere of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. This is the record of my (mis)adventures.
4:20 Turn up at the pens Stupidly early, armed with notebook, camera, notes, iPhone and press pass. This is the first time in the pen for me and frankly I feel like I should be packed in with the rest of the crowd. The bloggers pen doesn’t even exist yet, and the red carpet hasn’t been put down. There’s a nice looking Chaos Theatre set up steps off to the right as you face the cinema, which has a screen behind it in readiness. I wander about for a bit, but there’s no-one there and it’s going to be a long day, so I check out getting something to eat.

Bam! Thwok! Last night was the UK premiere of the amazing Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, amongst the bustle and glitz of London’s Leicester Square. The new comedy from the man behind Napoleon Dynamite falls depressingly flat, says Peter Bradshaw
Hopes were high for this disappointing new comedy by Jared Hess, who gave us Napoleon Dynamite and the underrated Nacho Libre. Michael Angarano plays Benjamin, a nerdy teenage boy who attends a science-fantasy writers' camp and gets his novella ripped off by a smug bestselling author who has come along as a competition judge. Jemaine Clement (from Flight of the Conchords) is undoubtedly very funny as the plummy-voiced science-fantasy star – that voice somewhere between Michael York and British comedy actor Matt Berry – and there some laughs at the wacky sequences dramatising Benjamin's opus, starring Sam Rockwell. But this runs out of ideas after 20 minutes.
