It’s hard to believe that of All the action franchises that have come and gone over the years that the Sniper series would still be going strong some thirty, yes Thirty, years after the debut of the original film. Since that debut we’ve had ten films – this latest one, Sniper: G.R.I.T. included – all of which have adapted with the times yet have still managed to find a consistency that has kept audiences coming back time and again. It also helps that, since 2011’s fourth film Sniper: Reloaded, we’ve had a consistent lead in actor Chad Michael Collins, playing Brandon Beckett the son of Tom Berenger’s original lead Gunnery Sergeant Tom Beckett.

This week’s Quantum Leap took it back to the ‘80s again.
After helping a boxer change his family’s tragic fate, Ben this time around found himself in the body of a bounty hunter named Eva in 1981. His mission seemed trivial: finding the bounty hunter’s target, Carla, who disappeared after skipping a court date over unpaid parking tickets.

An upcoming episode of Men of a Certain Age will reunite Scott Bakula with his Quantum Leap brother, David Newsom.
TV Guide reports that Newsom will once again play Bakula's on-screen sibling. He'll be playing Mark, the younger brother of Terry who's happily married with two children and his own business. Terry, who's working with Owen (Andre Braugher) as a car salesman, hasn't seen Mark in some time and tries to reconnect with him.
Quantum Leap fans may remember that Newsom played Lt. Tom Beckett, the older brother of Bakula's time-traveling Dr. Sam Beckett. In a very memorable episode, Sam lept into a fellow soldier in Tom's Navy unit in Vietnam. Tom had originally died but Sam was able to change history to save his brother's life.
