Naoise Barry is a leading producer for feature film & TV drama, with over 25 years experience in the Irish & international industry. Prior to establishing his own company, Envision Entertainment Ltd, he was Head of Production at Pinewood Studios Group, running Pinewood Productions Ireland. In 2015 he produced the Irish portion of STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, at locations on Ireland Atlantic west coast. Prior to joining the Pinewood Group, Naoise spent 14 years at the Irish Film Board (IFB), and in his Government role as Irish Film Commissioner, Naoise co-financed international productions, including THE TUDORS, VIKINGS, PENNY DREADFUL, and RIPPER STREET through the IFBs International Production Fund. He attracted a wide range of projects to film on location in Ireland, including STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, Oscar Nominated ALBERT NOBBS, & HARRY POTTER: THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE. Naoise sits on the Board of Screen Producers Ireland (SPI), and is a member of SPIs Film & TV Drama Committee. He also sits on the IFBs Policy Steering Group for the Irish tax credit, 'Section 481'. Whilst Film Commissioner, Naoise was central to the design & implementation of Irelands new 32% tax credit in 2014.
