Hey, it happens, ya know? You spend your entire life killing for other people, exterminating folks without prejudice, and then you retire. Think you're heading for sunny Florida? Think again. Everything has repercussions. Especially if you find yourself on The Killer's List.
Deadline is reporting that Vinnie Jones is attached to play a retired hit man and widower whose young son is kidnapped in The Killer’s List, a thriller to be produced and directed by Phil Avalon.
Scripted by Brian Vining, the plot follows the retired killer (Jones) as a kidnapper sends him a cardboard box containing his son’s fingers, a mobile phone, and instructions to eliminate five of his former criminal associates.
Not sure how Dread-worthy this one will turn out, but we'll keep an eye on things for you. Look for more soon if need be.

Deadline reports that actor Vinnie Jones (Snatch, X-Men: The Last Stand) is attached to play a retired hitman and widower whose young son is kidnapped in Killer’s List. The film is being produced by Phil Avalon and is expected to be directed by him as well.
Deadline has additional details on the script, written by Brian Vining.
“The plot follows the guy (Jones) as the kidnapper sends him a cardboard box containing his son’s fingers, a mobile phone and instructions to eliminate five of his former criminal associates.”
That’s a gruesome storyline.
Jones, a former footballer (played on Chelsea, among other teams), will be typecast once again as a tough guy. His most notable role is probably “Bullet Tooth Tony” from Snatch, which has a scene in it where a man tries to lay his hands on Tony’s young son…
Jones also played “Juggernaut” in X-Men: The Last Stand...

Dear hitmen in movies everywhere: there’s no way to say this kindly. Don’T Ever Retire! We’re serious. Of all the films featuring hitmen, the ones who jack in the job always, without fail, find trouble. The latest case in point is Vinnie Jones’ character in a new Australian thriller called The Killer’s List.Jones, usually found menacing other people, will indeed play a retired hitman (his first mistake), who is widowed with a young son (tragic, but also a mistake in these movies). What happens? Well, our – let’s not necessarily call him a hero because of all the killing – 'protagonist' receives a box in the mail when his kid goes missing. The contents, in a nasty, pseudo Se7en-style twist, are some of his son’s fingers, a mobile phone and instructions to kill five of his former fellow criminals. So what will he do?...
