Jimmy and Jack DeGrasso (played by Daniel McCabe and Lawrence Bucher respectively) are criminal brothers who don't get along and are led by their Uncle Sal in a small-time drug empire. When Jack finds Sal brutally murdered in his motel room, he has a vision in which Sal tells him to kill everyone who played a part in his murder. Not content to just get those who are responsible, Jimmy and Jack go on a killing spree and take out everyone they meet along the way while searching for their uncle's killers.
Mutilation Mile is a very low budget 2009 exploitation flick directed by Ron Atkins that's supposedly based on true events that happened in 1993.
Now, I like exploitation flicks, but this one was tough to sit through, not because of the violence, but because it was such a chore to watch. There's almost nothing to this movie.

Director Ron Atkins releases his latest and most ambitious film, “The Cuckoo Clocks Of Hell” on DVD, August 31, 2011. “The Cuckoo Clocks Of Hell” follows the character of Harry Russo (“Schizophreniac” and “Necromaniac”), returning to a plauge-infested Las Vegas for a supernaturally-ordained meeting with Terry Hawkins (“The Last House On Dead-End Street” aka “The Funhouse”). Set in the near future, “The Cuckoo Clocks Of Hell” tells a twisted story of discovery and destiny, of madness and mayhem, of cultures and corruption. The film was conceived in 2003 between Ron Atkins and the late Roger Watkins. Upon Watkin’s untimely death,… More...

Ron Atkins, one of the most prominent underground filmmakers who specialize in extreme horror and sleaze, brings us his latest release, the ultimate crime/revenge film, Mutilation Mile. Inspired by a true story that happened in 1993, Mutilation Mile is the vicious tale of the DeGrasso brothers Jimmy and Jack with deep ties to organized crime and drug operations and their crusade for revenge in Las Vegas as they seek out the scum who were responsible for the slaying of their Uncle Sal, whose bloody, mutilated corpse they found in a shower stall. Not just out to kill anybody, as Jack says, Uncle Sal said to “fucking kill everybody!” Jimmy and Jack embark on their brutal, horrific killing spree in the Vegas area, at their disposal using a 357 magnum, switch blade, straight razor, crowbar, etc. as they shoot, stab, bludgeon, torture, and mutilate their enemies, which include drug dealers, prostitutes, pimps,...

Underground cinefans know filmmaker Ron Atkins for such gritty, microbudget independent efforts as Eyes Of The Chameleon (to be rereleased by Troma this spring on DVD), Dark Night Of The Soul and two Schizophreniac movies, among other homegrown bloodbaths. Last December saw the release of Mutilation Mile (see item here), a true-crime-inspired tale of illegal narcotics and familial revenge, which Atkins wrote and directed in his home city of Las Vegas. The indie auteur spoke to Fango and passed on some exclusive pics from his modern grindhouse effort.
