In the 1930s she appeared in some of John Logie Baird's pioneering 30-line TV
broadcasts from Broadcasting House in London.
Died seven months after the death of her husband, Cyril Fletcher.
She met Cyril Fletcher in 1940 and they went on to star together before
going into theatrical management and putting on pantomimes and summer
shows, unearthing new talent including Harry Secombe.
