- A member of the quartet, Ang4gettables. She replaced Nanette Inventor who, together with Mon David, left the group. Together with then-newcomer Bimbo Cerudo, she completed the second line-up of the group with original members, Pinky Marquez and George Javier. The second line-up is called Ang4. The group has traveled abroad extensively for shows bringing music and goodwill to Filipinos abroad.

- A product of local musical productions staged exclusively at the Manila Metropolitan Theatre and Cultural Center of the Philippines at its peak in 1980s when quality musicales were being produced.
- In 2003, she played Nimia in CCP's production of Himala, the stage musical based on the hit movie Miracle (1982).
- Plays starred included "West Side Story", "A Chorus Line", "One for the Soul", "Once on this Island", "They're Playing Our Song" and the Manila production of "Miss Saigon".
- Her four-year stint in Europe for the "Miss Saigon" stint brought her to perform for different audiences in the region. It was then that she did Jute City (1991).
- In 1989, Isay went to London to essay the role of Gigi in the original production of Miss Saigon together with Lea Salonga and 14 other actors, including her future husband Robert Seña, from the Philippines.
