American Honey opens today, and the odd story of new world hobo teens who travel the country selling magazine subscriptions door-to-door stars Shia LeBeouf and newcomer Sasha Lane.
Lane is in the latest edition of GQ, and talks about her discovery, and it sounds like the fairy tale no one has believed for decades. It turns out that while Lane was on spring break in Florida, writer/director Andrea Arnold was watching her.
After a few days of observation, Arnold introduced herself and proposed an on-the-spot audition at Lane’s hotel. The next morning, recalls Lane, “we hopped in a car and just went from there.”
Among other things, the film features a romance, of sorts, between Lane and LeBeouf. You might imagine a lot goes into pulling off a really good sex scene, and while that may be true, Lane says it all comes down to “breathing” and “eye contact.

It's good to be Naomi Watts right now which is something of a surprise since last year it wasn't. But then the blonde Aussie's career has always been like that. Let's investigate.
Naomi Watts photographed by Mark Abrahams for More magazine
In the Posterized series, now beginning a new season so expect one each Friday, we look back at a star's career through their movie posters. Sometimes it's their giant sized faces and sometimes they don't appear on the poster at all. Such are the vagaries of stardom and advertisements.
In Naomi's film debut she didn't even get a name. The then 18 year old actress was billed as "Leo's Girlfriend" I couldn't find a movie poster of that one so we begin five years later when the actress, after a few TV stints debuted properly opposite her best friend Nicole Kidman in Flirting (1991) a terrific Australian coming of age movie you should seek out.

On "House of Cards":
"[The] dials were really high in the first season. Beau Williams [the show's creator] has a very big imagination. And he and our writing staff, I think really pulled through this season. Because it's hard to top all the things that happened last season. Last year, before Season 1 came out, I had seen all the episodes; this year I haven't, so I'm just as excited to watch it like anyone else. Still,...

The ‘Madmen’ star has switched up her look yet again debuting dark, short hair and dramatic eye makeup for her latest magazine cover–What do you think of the look? Sound off below!
With a masculine slicked back coif and heavy black eye makeup, January Jones, 35, is hardly recognizable for the magazine’s spring/summer issue, which runs with the theme ‘Passionate’. The moody black and white images were captured by top fashion photographer Mark Abrahams.
January Jones’ Changing Hair Colors
Classic designs from fashion labels including Bottega Veneta, Tom Ford, John Galliano, Burberry Prorsum and Jimmy Choo were used for the shoot. January, who has since gone back to a platinum blonde hairdo, recently admitted that constantly dying her hair has caused bald patches to appear. “My hair is falling out in clumps,” she told Grazia magazine.

In the photos shot by famed photographer Mark Abrahams, Susan rocks a glamorous lace Giorgio Armani gown and strikes a pensive pose, while Eva shows off her super-toned arms in a blue Oscar de la Renta tube dress and gives us her best "who, me?" expression.
The rest of the 14 portraits, which will include the mother-daughter duo sporting some serious high-fashion (Burberry Prorsum, Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Lanvin just to name a few), will appear in March magazines including the March edition of the rebooted Neiman Marcus publication, The Book.

Elizabeth Olsen, the 21-year-old sister of actresses-turned-designers Mary-Kate and Ashley (and the namesake of their fashion line Elizabeth and James), struck a pose for V magazine's "The Discovery Issue" -- marking the first time we've seen her in a style magazine.
Elizabeth was nominated the "New Ingenue" by actor Chace Crawford and gives a short interview in which she talks about her time studying acting at Moscow's Art Theatre School. She remarks:
"If I could live a parallel life, I would live in Russia....The [stage combat] teacher and I got along even though he didn't speak English. He was trying to demonstrate something and asked for a guy. I kind of scoffed and raised my hand, because he didn't ask any of the chicks to volunteer. And we did this exercise where you have to block someone from slapping your head. It was funny, though because he wasn't letting me down...

Selena Gomez might be besties with Justin Bieber, but that doesn't mean she loves everything about the guy. In fact, his signature hairstyle is a bit of a sticking point for the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star, who recently told Radio Disney that if she could chop off his trademark locks, she would.
"You're not the first person who challenged him," she noted after Radio Disney host Jake Whetter suggested giving the "Baby" singer a trim, perhaps referencing the time Ellen DeGeneres tried to chop off a bit of his hair. "Everybody wants to cut his hair. I want to cut his hair! You're with him and you have, like, a 45-second conversation and it's like, [he's flicking his hair the entire time] and I'm like, 'Why are you doing that!' "

Nick Cannon was talking smack (and losing) to Justin Bieber at the mop-topped singer's big bowling-themed album release party in New York City on Tuesday night. But Bieber's fans had much kinder, gentler words ready for the moment that they might meet the 16-year-old pop star, whose new album My World 2.0 came out this week.
"I'll say, like, I love him and everything, and that I wish he could play at my birthday party," Angelique told MTV News outside the Lucky Strike Lanes. " 'Cause he's so cute and he sings really good."
Another fan, Brianna, added, "I would say that he's an awesome singer and he's a good artist." And Nicole chimed in, "I would say, 'I love you.' "

Justin Bieber's new album My World 2.0 hit stores on Tuesday (March 23) — and fans have been flocking to iTunes and their local record stores to get their hands on a copy of the album, the follow-up to last November's My World.
While fans have singled out his hit "Baby" and the Sean Kingston collabo "Eenie Meenie" as favorites, they also have praised the entire album. "Of course! I love it — I recommend it to anyone. I pre-ordered it," Brooke Bonstead told MTV News. "Favorite off the new album: 'Eenie Meenie' and 'Baby.' Why? 'Cause it's just, like, an upbeat song. It makes you want to dance. It's just a good song. Well, it came out last night at midnight [and I] put it on my iPod. I listen to it over and over again.

Adam isn’t your average Idol!
When was the last time you saw a guy wearing eyeliner and chunky jewelery before Adam Lambert came along? While we may think he has a unique look for a popstar, according to Adam it’s nothing special! “What I do has been done before,” Adam says in the latest issue of Vman Magazine, “It’s glam. I’m inspired by the ’70s and ’80s. Bowie is a huge influence.” The singer, who was shot by Mark Abrahams, says creating his image is his favorite part of being famous, “I’ve always wanted to just play dress up.”

Justin Bieber tells Vman he’s “building his swagger!”
Justin Bieber went from making youtube videos of himself singing and dancing, (he has over 100 million views!) to being the hottest tween sensation! Can you believe he has gals like Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato fawning over him? In fact, when he showed up at the shoot for his spread in Vman Magazine, right after the Vevo launch party, he was still sporting a lipstick mark from Rihanna, “Rihanna gave that [kiss] to me,” he said! It looks like this popstar is already popular with the ladies — and judging by these black and white photos shot by Mark Abrahams, it looks like his appeal is growing, along with his career, (his second album is due out in March), but that’s not all! Justin says, “In the last year I think I’ve developed my style a little, as I’ve built my swagger.

Leighton Meester shows off her racy side for the upcoming December issue of GQ, though exclusive video of her shoot will be online Friday before the issue hits newsstands on November 24. We've seen Leighton go scantily clad for her latest music video, but it's still a jolt to see the same actress who plays buttoned-up Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl looking so different. Leighton may understandably be trying to change her image as she embarks on a solo singing career, but tell us what you think - is this super sexy or too much?
