Chuck Norris can be really vicious with his kicks. He is a trained martial artist who has a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and judo. Norris was invited to play a villain role in The Way of the Dragon by Bruce Lee, and Steve McQueen suggested that he take acting seriously. He has numerous Hollywood projects to his name.
Even during his 50s, Norris continued to practice his martial arts skills passionately. In a video that surfaced on X, he can be seen demonstrating some killer kicks with Benny Urquidez. It appears that he would’ve given Joe Rogan a run for his money with those kicks.

The 1970s saw a variety of musical movies, of which many have now become classics, among them Grease, which has two very dark Elvis Presley coincidences, one of them the result of a tragedy. It’s not unusual for stage musicals to be adapted into movies, and in 1978, it was Grease’s turn. The musical, by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, made its debut in the early 1970s to great success, and just a couple of years later, it was brought to the big screen by director Randal Kleiser.
Grease takes the audience back to 1958 to meet the T-Birds’ greaser leader Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Australian new girl Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John). Danny and Sandy meet at the beach over the summer and fall in love, and to his surprise, when he returns to school, Sandy is the new girl. Danny and Sandy’s romance goes through many ups...

I will cherish those hours I spent with him for the rest of my life. I didn’t know that just a few days after my visit, he would have a massive stroke.

Wayne Osmond, who co-founded the Osmonds, scored four Top 10 singles with the group and was a regular on the hit variety show Donny & Marie starring his younger brother and sister, died January 1 in Utah after a stroke. He was 73.
The news was confirmed in a Facebook post by his brother Merrill Osmond, who wrote in part: “I’ve never known a man that had more humility. A man with absolute no guile. An individual that was quick to forgive and had the ability to show unconditional love to everyone he ever met. Until I see him again, know that he was loved.”
Born on August 28, 1951, in Ogden, Utah, Wayne Osmond began singing with his siblings Alan, Merrill and Jay in a barbershop quartet called The Osmond Brothers during the late 1950s. The boys’ father, George Osmond, got them an audition on The Lawrence Welk Show, but they weren’t hired.

Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots, Jerry O’Connell, Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Natalie Morales bid farewell to “The Talk” on Friday as the CBS daytime show aired its series finale after 15 seasons.
Kloots, in particular, found herself tearing up over the emotional episode, as she offered a message to their loyal audience through tears.
“I live with a child, you know, so coming here every day and being able to talk to five, or four people, obviously — five, I’ll include you guys [the audience], cause you’re a part of it — about really fun, silly topics to important topics, but to be able to talk … I’m so grateful for that,” she shared. “I think we can’t forget that. Listen to each other, talk to one another, don’t fight with each other, really appreciate each other’s opinions, because that’s what we got to do everyday. And it was so beautiful.

“I just wanted to know why everyone is being so nice today.”
That’s how host Jerry O’Connell kicked off the final episode Friday of The Talk, which is signing off at 2,993 episodes and 15 seasons on CBS. After receiving raucous applause from the studio audience — a handful of whom have been attending the Studio City, CA. taping of the daytime talk show since day one — host Amanda Kloots choked up as she reflected on how important it’s been to listen to one other and “really appreciate each other opinions.”
“That’s what we got to do everyday,” Kloots said through tears. “It’s about talking, not fighting, and being apart of each other’s family.”
For host Sheryl Underwood, her 14 seasons on the show has been about “fashion evolution.” “You’ve seen things happening for me,” said Underwood, who later admitted off-camera that she never really learned to walk in heels.

“The Talk” executive producer Rob Crabbe is getting a little too familiar with TV goodbyes. A year and a half after his previous talker, “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” signed off, he’s now doing the same thing on Friday with “The Talk.”
It’s a different kind of show, and therefore a different kind of goodbye. But still, there are similarities to the sign-off. “The emotional undercurrent of what the shows were trying to accomplish is the same,” Crabbe told Variety. “You’re trying to express joyfulness. You’re trying to make people feel something. And with ‘The Talk,’ we’re giving everybody a little break in their day, the routine of it. Donny Osmond has been a beloved entertainer for 62 years, so it's not surprising that he has a high net worth. He first gained fame by singing with his older siblings as part of the Osmond Brothers group. It soon became apparent that Donny was the standout among his siblings, serving as the lead vocalist on numerous hits in the early 1970s, including fan-favorite "Down by the Lazy River." The Osmonds became teen sensations, frequently appearing on the covers of popular magazines like Teen Beat.
Donny capitalized on his popularity and teamed up with his sister Marie on the variety show Donny & Marie. Though it was an immediate hit, after a few seasons, the public grew tired of the Osmond siblings' squeaky-clean image. Donny reinvented himself many times over the years. Marie Osmond stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday, March 20, and opened up about her history of weight loss and how her children inspired her health journey in the 2000s. “I was in a situation that I had to get out,” the iconic singer shared, referring to her weight gain in the mid-2000s. “I had put 50 lbs on. That’s a lot of weight on me. I’m only 5’5. I’m very petite.” “God had to make me that way to make Donny look macho,” she quipped, poking fun at her brother and long-time musical partner. Getting serious, Osmond said, “Women don’t live long in our family. And so my son came to me, on behalf of all my children, and said, ‘Mom, you’re not gonna live long. You’ve gotta lose weight. It has nothing to do with what you look like. It has to...

When John Farrar turned up to a movie set at dawn clutching a demo of his hastily written “emergency song”, he didn’t have high hopes. The call had only come in the previous day, crying out for a last-minute number to plug a hole in the musical score for when the greaser with heart gets the good girl turned bad. Farrar hadn’t exactly been inspired in scratching it together – “desperate is probably the word”, he says. The director took one listen and hated it, but the last-day-of-school shot was already set up and they were all out of options. A choreographer threw together a dance routine on the spot. The scene went in the can inside seven hours, and so wrapped this hokey teen musical presumably bound for oblivion.

The original "Grease" stage musical first debuted at the Kingston Mines night club in Chicago in 1971. The book was by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, who also wrote the music and lyrics with John Farrar. Set in the 1950s, "Grease" was a winking, somewhat bawdy anti-nostalgia piece about high school greasers and car nuts falling in love after a significant summer vacation. It banked on the images of squeaky-clean 1950s teeny-bopper movies, but inserted sexuality, a teen pregnancy, gang violence, and themes of class. The main characters were Danny the greaser and Sandy the square. They had a romantic fling in the summer, but may be too embarrassed to date one another during the school year. Their relationship is reconciled when Sandy adopts the clothes and mannerisms of the greasers. "Grease" moved to Broadway in 1972 and played all the way through 1980, making it the longest-running Broadway show at the time.

Most documentaries about pioneering musicians are celebrations that exhibit the performer’s greatness right off the bat through electric concert footage and testimonials. Lisa Cortés’ “Little Richard: I Am Everything” does that, of course, with Little Richard ripping it up onstage and on screen, and Mick Jagger, Tom Jones, and John Waters testifying to his power. “He’s everything,” says Mick, in the first of a few nods to the film’s title.
But “Little Richard: I Am Everything” does something else: It gets complicated right off the bat. As part of the opening sequence, we see footage in which latter-day Little Richard tells David Letterman that he came out as gay early in his life, “but God made me know that he made Adam to be with Eve, not Steve.”

There's random, and then there is stumbling across Richard Pryor bartending in the "Star Wars" universe. If you spend enough time searching "Star Wars" on YouTube, that's exactly what you'll uncover. Unfortunately, we only get a brief glimpse of the colorful Mos Eisley Cantina in "Star Wars: A New Hope," because once Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi affirm that "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy," they meet up with Han Solo and get down to business in a dark corner of the tavern.

The late porn star – real name Herbert Streicher and best known for his role in the 1972 adult film Deep Throat – was initially hired for the role of Coach Calhoun, who aids Travolta’s Danny Zuko in his quest to join a sports team to impress Sandy (Newton-John).
“Allan [Carr, the producer] wanted to have the porn star Harry Reems play that part,” director Randal Kleiser revealed on a recent episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s It Happened in Hollywood podcast.

After pressure from the studio forced them to drop Reems, comedian Sid Caesar ended up assuming the role as the fan-favourite Rydell High faculty member.
