Matt Bomer is sporting a new look!

The 47-year-old actor debuted a new mustache while attending an intimate dinner for Tod’s on Wednesday night (October 23) at the Sunset Tower’s Tower Bar in West Hollywood, Calif.

The dinner was held to celebrate Tod’s new collection under the creative direction of Matteo Tamburini, introducing the brand’s new creative director to the L.A. community.

The incredible life and career of artist and restaurateur Michael Chow is the focus of the HBO Original documentary aka Mr. Chow. Directed by Nick Hooker (AgnelIi), the documentary features interviews with Mr. Chow as well as artists Peter Blake, Julian Schnabel, and Ed Ruscha, and family members Cecilia Zhou, Maximillian Chow, China Chow, and Vanessa Chow.

“My father was completely an artist. Revolutionized the Beijing Opera,” recalls Michael Chow. “He said to me, ‘Wherever you go, always remember, you are Chinese.'”

HBO has set an October premiere for Aka Mr. Chow, the original documentary film directed by Nick Hooker (HBO’s AgnelIi). The film debuts Sunday, October 22 at 9 Pm on HBO and will be streaming on Max.

Produced by Oscar-nominated Diane Quon (Minding The Gap), executive produced, written, and edited by Emmy-winning editor Jean Tsien, and executive produced by Emmy-nominated Graydon Carter and Annabelle Dunne (HBO’s Everything Is Copy), Aka Mr. Chow details the life of Michael Chow. Born Zhou Yinghua in 1930s Shanghai, he would use creativity to triumph over childhood trauma, personal loss, and systemic prejudice, growing up to become the actor and artist before inventing a new identity, Mr. Chow, when he opens the first of his iconic restaurants. Having found fame and fortune in the West, Mr. Chow celebrates his Chinese roots and finds catharsis by returning to painting, reemerging as the artist M.

When you give your movie a name like “Gunpowder Milkshake,” you are making a very specific promise to potential audiences: This thing is going to be violent as hell and somehow hilariously adorable too. I have no idea if the actual movie will deliver but I’m pleased to report that the official trailer definitely does.

Per the official logline, in the film “a secret sisterhood of female assassins, over the course of a single night, fight to stop a cycle of violence while coming to the aid of a mother-daughter assassin duo.” Karen Gillan stars as Sam, the daughter part of that duo and the newest member of that sisterhood, with Lena Headey playing her mom.

And based on this delightful trailer, we’re guessing the plot kicks off when Sam decides not to kill her latest target, a young girl. Jokes and a ton of brutal violence ensues.

Bravo fans, reality television devotees, art lovers and people who just like watching people do weird stuff and call it art are in mourning Tuesday (Aug. 21) with the news that Bravo has canceled "Work of Art," according to Gallerist NY.

The show hosted by China Chow pitted aspiring artists against each other in a "Project Runway"-style competition, which, among other prizes, won the final artist a a show at the Brooklyn Museum. The series' regular judges included Simon de Pury, Bill Powers, Jeanne Greenberg-Rohatyn and Jerry Saltz, though Saltz called it quits on his judging duties at the end of Season 2, according to Vulture.

Dan Cutforth of Magical Elves, which produces the show, tells Gallerist NY that he already has interest from other networks.

After two smart, surprising seasons, Bravo has cancelled its art-world competition show Work of Art, reports Gallerist NY. Producer Dan Cutforth is currently shopping the series to other networks, though he'll have to do it without the input of our art critic Jerry Saltz, who hung up his judging Spanx at the end of last season. At least the show leaves us with plenty of memories: Sucklord! Miles! The unborn fauns! The art challenges that should have been won every week by whatever China Chow was wearing! Hosting an awards show requires plenty of costume changes, as Anne Hathaway proved at the 2011 Oscars (with plenty of help from Rachel Zoe).

But Kelly Osbourne truly stepped up to the plate as host of the NewNowNext Awards, held by Logo on Thursday night. Serving as the host as well as a nominee in the "Beyond Style" category, Kelly wore a whopping Seven different outfits throughout the evening -- and we actually really liked several of of them.

For the red carpet, the "Fashion Police" co-host kept things simple in a metallic cocktail dress with a cowl neck. But she didn't stay in it for long, switching into (among other things) a Dorothy costume, superhero-inspired outfit (cape included!), an awesome orange maxi skirt and a rather flattering black evening gown.

Logo’s NewNowNext Awards don’t air until April 9 on the cable network, but EW has exclusively learned the roster of nominees for the fifth annual event, which showcases who and what are on the verge of a pop culture explosion in 2012.

'Work of Art' host China Chow and Beverly Hills Housewife Adrienne Maloof dropped by the clubhouse to hang out with Andy Cohen on Monday night's 'Watch What Happens Live' (Sun. & Mon., 11Pm Et on Bravo) and found out they had more in common than just their network.

Andy began reading a question from a viewer asking China if she used to date "Adrienne's Bff Marky Mark Wahlberg," and paused to ask China if the rumor was true. She confirmed it was, much to Adrienne's surprise. Adrienne had just posted a photo on her Facebook page of herself and her husband Dr. Paul Nassif out to dinner with Wahlberg.

Bravo has set the premiere date for the second season of the Sarah Jessica Parker-produced Work of Art: The Next Great Artist.

The show returns on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 9/8c and pits 14 up-and-coming artists against each other as they battle for $100,000 and a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum. Funnyman Steve Coogan knows he's lucky to be dating model/actress China Chow - he gets a discount at her father's plush restaurants.

The Night at the Museum star has been involved with Chow since 2007 but has never spoken publicly about the couple's relationship.

When Bravo announced plans for an art-based reality competition, it seemed they were trying to squeeze more blood from a stone that dried up sometime after the first season of "Shear Genius" and well before "Launch My Line."

But "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist" ended up being one of the most unique offerings the network has put out in years, highlighting an eccentric niche of professionals and pushing them into situations where they could create thoughtful and diverse work -- a lot like the show that spawned it.

"Work of Art" captures the same excitement as the first season of "Project Runway," introducing a community foreign to most viewers and broadening their cultural perspective because of it. Yesterday we all discussed our addictions to school supplies and the necessity of many colors of markers and pens to ensure a successful school year (or, in my case, something to use to color on my sneakers with when I got bored) today the Teen Choice awards are airing so let's be honest; what celebrity crush decorated your locker and/or notebooks? I'm not necessarily going for embarrassing, but that's always fun as is grossly inappropriate. For example, given certain precocious television viewing habits I had crushes on David Duchovny and George Clooney at age 10 because I was watching "The X-Files" and "E.R" pretty regularly. And when I was 12 or 13 I saw 10 Things I Hate About You for the first time and spent several years waiting for my perfectly not at all bad bad-boy with a hot accent to come along and fall for me despite my prickly somewhat antisocial exterior.

Last week Magical Elves, the geniuses behind Project Runway and Top Chef, joined up with Sarah Jessica Parker's production company Pretty Matches to give us another brilliant reality competition show—Work of Art: The Next Great Artist.

It's the same formula as the other shows, but this time painters, sculptors, performance artists, and photographers are competing for the grand prize. The model for those who don't know, put twelve artists in a room together, assign ridiculously difficult challenges that test their creativity and stamina, and see who rises to the top. “Art is never finished, only abandoned.” - Leonardo Da Vinci I'll admit that my expectations for Bravo's newest reality competition series Work of Art were painfully low. After all, this seems just just the sort of series for which you can easily make a snide remark about it being less exciting than watching paint dry. But I have to say that I was extremely pleasantly surprised by Work of Art, which premieres tonight. Not only was it fast-paced and exciting, but it was slickly produced, thanks in part to the crack team at Magical Elves, which has once again worked its reality magic on this format. Art isn't the most accessible of topics, yet the show--which is hosted by China Chow--is just that: tearing away the sort of potential pretentiousness of its subject by allowing the audience to enter the minds of some gifted artists--each coming from different media--and participate in the artistic process.

More than two years after Sarah Jessica Parker's fierce appearance on a 'Project Runway' episode (eventual winner Christian Siriano was nearly eliminated!), Sjp returns to Bravo with 'Work of Art: The Next Great Artist'.

Through the summer, fourteen visual artists paint and pant through challenges, the winner earning a solo exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. 'Sex and the City's' Parker is an executive producer on 'Art'.

Inspiration is everywhere. The setting for 'Work of Art' is New York, of course. Your host is actress China Chow, daughter of the legendary designer and muse Tina Chow. Playing the role of Tim Gunn will be the elegant and multilingual (French, German, Italian and English) auctioneer Simon de Pury.

Move over, Padma and Heidi. Let G.W. introduce you to the new China—the one, the only: China Chow. Come June 9, at 11 p.m., the model, the actress, the international style plate, and the forever “It girl” will enter the fray of Bravo TV as the face and force of a transformative show called Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. G.W. believes it will be Bravo’s most sophisticated presentation yet, as it attempts to bring “fine art dialogue to the forefront of pop culture.” Work of Art is the brainchild of Sarah Jessica Parker and her production company, Pretty Matches. It’s got an on-air team led not only by Chow, as the host, but highbrow art experts such as gorgon auctioneer Simon de Pury, who will mentor the 14 artists competing for a cash prize of $100,000 and a solo show at the prestigious Brooklyn Museum of Art.

Sarah Jessica Parker will be at The Paley Center April 7 (6:30 p.m.) to talk about her upcoming Bravo series, "Work of Art: The Next Great Artist," with series host China Chow and "series men tor" Simon de Pury (among others). Of Bravo's numerous reality show announcements made at Press Tour Sunday (Jan. 10), it was "Top Chef Masters" that made the TV critics prick up their ears.

The competition show pitting world renowned chefs against each other will premiere its second season on Wednesday, April 7 at 11 p.m. Et/Pt before moving to its regular time period a week later at 10 p.m.

Food journalist Kelly Choi will return as host, and regular "Top Chef" judge Gail Simmons will serve as a judge this season as well, joining restaurant critic Gael Greene, culinary expert James Oseland and food critic Jay Rayner.

Simmons was also named the host of another "Top Chef" spinoff, "Top Chef: Just Desserts," which will feature pastry chefs in competition. The show is still currently in development.

Just some days after her split from NFL player boyfriend Reggie Bush was confirmed, Kim Kardashian has signed in to work on a TV show. The celebrity socialite will guest judge on an episode of "America's Next Top Model" 13th season.

Also joining her will be former "The Hills" star Lauren Conrad. The twosome is going to criticize fourteen girls who will compete at the hit CW show. Conrad will serve as a judge on September 16, while Kardashian will appear on October 21. They will be joined by the show's host Tyra Banks and other judges, including model J. Alexander and fashion photographer Nigel Barker.

In addition to Kim Kardashian and Lauren Conrad, producers of the show have appointed several famous models to appear on the series. Chanel Iman, China Chow, Josie Maran, and Kirsty Hume will make an appearance on certain episodes of the upcoming season.
