At age 8, he wrote a letter to NBC's Laugh-In with some sketch ideas. In addition, he asked them to air the show one hour earlier so it wouldn't interfere with his bedtime.
Began his career in show business as a playwright and a stand-up
comedian, and was such a prolific writer that he was able to sell jokes
to other comedians.
Attended UCLA with Chris Matheson.
Son: Evan, daughter: Olivia.
Graduated from UCLA where he majored in economics.
