"Baseball is the only game that death is jealous of. Baseball defeats time. Only baseball has the possibility of going on forever." Vertical has revealed an official trailer for an indie dramedy film called Reverse the Curse, a baseball story about a father who loves the Boston Red Sox. It's directed by David Duchovny and also adapted from Duchovny's own book titled "Bucky F*cking Dent", an ode to the bond between father and son. The film follows Ted, aka Mr. Peanut, who moves in with his father Marty when he is diagnosed with lung cancer. To keep him happy and alive, Ted enlists Marty's grief counselor Mariana and friends to fake a Red Sox winning streak using the help of a few pals. Starring David Duchovny, Logan Marshall-Green, Stephanie Beatriz, Jason Beghe, Evan Handler, Santo Fazio, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Pamela Adlon. This initially premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival last year,...

Several casting changes are coming to the Chicago One shows after the current seasons end. One change has already happened. Hailey Upton left Chicago Pd in the Season 11 finale. However, some fans have predicted she will pop up on a rival show in the future thanks to something they saw.
Here is where fans think Hailey will show up next and why they came to this conclusion.
Chicago Pd Star Possibly Moving On To Rival Show
On the Chicago Pd season finale, Hailey (Tracy Spiridakos) raced to save her boss, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe). A serial killer targeted Hank and captured him. As the promos for the show revealed, Hank was in bad shape and was hallucinating. That is where Hailey came into the picture.
Hailey ended up shot during the rescue, but she helped Voight escape and they made it out alive. They ended up in the hospital after the dangerous event,...

Many Chicago P.D. fans felt a guest star would appear on the Season 11 finale.
It was the final episode for actress Tracy Spiridakos, and the prevailing thought was that Jesse Lee Soffer might resurface.
Jesse used to play Detective Jay Halstead – the husband of Detective Hailey Upton (played by Tracy).
Jesse’s final episode was early in Season 10, so he hadn’t been on the show for a while. But he had recently directed the 12th episode of Season 13, creating rumors he would stick around for the 13th episode.
Chicago P.D. fans didn’t see an Upstead reunion during the season finale, providing little closure for that romance.
Many Chicago P.D. fans got UpsteadForever trending on social media again, making it clear how much they missed the duo.

‘Chicago P.D.’: Tracy Spiridakos On Saying Goodbye In Season 11 Finale; Surprise Elias Koteas Return
Spoiler Alert: The following will reveal major plot points from the Season 11 finale titled “More.”
Tracy Spiridakos said goodbye to NBC’s Chicago P.D. in the Season 11 finale in the most dramatic way possible. Let’s tip our hats to showrunner Gwen Sigan who knows how to torture us—and also apparently Voight (Jason Beghe)—to protect the bittersweet sendoff Hailey Upton deserves.
“I feel really good about it,” Spiridakos tells Deadline about Upton’s conclusion. “Gwen told me her idea to send Haley off and I was excited about it. I love that it’s just so different from what we’ve seen her go through in the past; it’s this really happy send-off for her and I absolutely love it.”
Sigan reveals she never had plans to kill off Upton, even though they went to great lengths to make it appear they were. She said she...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Chicago P.D. Season 11 finale “More.”] Intelligence has lost another member, but the good news is that the door has been left for Tracy Spiridakos to return. The Chicago P.D. finale sees Intelligence racing to find Voight (Jason Beghe), who has been kidnapped by the serial killer they’ve been chasing. And during his time in his captivity, while he’s bleeding out, Voight begins hallucinating and sees none other than the dead Olinsky (Elias Koteas). Upton gives herself up to the serial killer to find Voight. Both are injured, but neither spends nearly as long in the hospital as they should. And then to end the episode, Upon brings up him saying that “no dad would want this” when she showed up. Voight claims not to remember that, nut he does wonder if he’s bad for her. Upton assures him he’s not, ...

Spoiler Alert: This story includes storylines from “More,” the May 22 Season 11 finale of “Chicago P.D.”
Hailey Upton is no longer a Chicago resident. The Season 11 “Chicago P.D.” finale served as the final episode for Tracy Spiridakos, who joined the show midway through Season 4 and has been a series regular since Season 5.
The episode was one of the most emotional of the season, with the squad searching for Voight (Jason Beghe), who was being tortured by serial killer Frank Matson (Dennis Flanagan). Matson’s Mo is forcing his first victim to call the person they love most, convince them to come rescue them — and then kill them both. Since Voight’s closest (and really only) friend is Hailey, that’s who Matson wanted him to call. In true Voight fashion, he refused to call and would rather be stabbed over and over again.
After that happened, in a delirious state, Voight saw Alvin Olinsky.

[This story contains spoilers from the May 22 finale of Chicago Pd, “More.”]
Chicago Pd’s season 11 finale — titled “More” — gives its viewers more than just an emotional sendoff of longtime fan-favorite character Detective Hailey Upton, played by Tracy Spiridakos, a young, loner police officer who spent nearly eight seasons dealing with deep emotional traumas from her backstory (her father was an alcoholic and physically abused her mother, Upton and her siblings when they were children). But the season’s 13th episode also provided closure for Jason Beghe’s Sergeant Hank Voight, who, like his protégé Upton, also walked a solitary path of loneliness and despair. But, were they alone?
“More” reveals that Upton and Voight may have felt alone, but they actually had each other. Subconsciously and consciously, they held one another up in their shattered lives of past failures, regrets, pains and heartaches. But for the two of them to really see and feel that bond, it would take violence, blood...

Chicago P.D. — Pictured: Jason Beghe as Hank Voight — (Photo by: Lori Allen/NBC) Faced with the prospect of a shorter season because of last year’s Hollywood strikes, the writers and producers of Chicago P.D decided to shake things up a bit in the show’s 11th season. With only 13 episodes to work with, star Jason Beghe says the show was able to focus on more personal story arcs for its characters; with the season finale airing tonight, Beghe thinks many of those storylines will be wrapped up in a very satisfying way. The three shows of One Chicago—Med, Fire, and P.D.—are facing some major changes in their finales, airing on May 22. Two are losing major characters, while the third has a lot of conflict going on at the workplace. First up is Med, and Sharon Goodwin is going to be dealing with a lot in the finale. What’s going on in the hospital is always the source of the biggest conflict for her, S. Epatha Merkerson said when she, Miranda Rae Mayo (Fire), and Jason Beghe (P.D.) stopped by TV Insider’s office. “There’s always something going on, something explosive.” In the finale, that includes a lawsuit. “She also has to deal with her diabetes, so that will come into play because she’s not really taking care of herself,” Merkerson revealed. “And it’s a great thing that we’ve done because I’m diabetic,...

Tracy Spiridakos is saying goodbye to Hailey Upton. Ahead of the May 22 finale, the “Chicago P.D.” actor is opening up for the first time about her decision to leave the procedural at the end of Season 11.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, Spiridakos, who joined the Dick Wolf police drama in Season 4, reveals she went to showrunner Gwen Sigan at the end of Season 10 to share that she wanted the next season to be her last.
“I decided at the end of my sixth season, which is when I had reached out to Gwen and to everyone at Wolf to let them know that I just wanted to do one more year. I wanted us to send out the character with one last season,” Spiridakos says. “It was a hard decision — very, very hard. I love everybody on the show — cast, crew, producers, writers, everybody. It’s such an incredible team.

Hank Voight is in harm’s way during the Chicago P.D. season finale.
During the penultimate episode of Season 11, Voight was taken from his home after being seemingly drugged.
It appeared that Voight had been drugged, leading to hallucinations and immobilizing the Intelligence leader.
As Intelligence began zeroing in on a lead suspect in the serial killer case, his team had no idea that Voight had been taken.
When Detective Hailey Upton went by his house, she became suspicious that his car was there, his backdoor was unlocked, and Voight was missing.
Was Voight about to become the latest victim of a serial killer that had plagued Intelligence for most of the season?

With only one episode of Chicago P.D. to go with Tracy Spiridakos as Detective Hailey Upton, we can’t help but think that the show is running out of time to reunite her and Jay Halstead. But will it? Given where Upton’s story has been going this season, we have to admit that we’re leaning towards no—and it shouldn’t. The season began with her signing divorce papers amidst her struggling at work, and we’ve watched that play out during conversations with both Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and Svu’s Detective Josephine “Jo” Petrovic (Bojana Novakovic). One thing that has become clear is that however Upton is written out, it has to be about her, not about her relationship with Halstead. Would a hint that they may have a future be great? Yes, after watching their love story play out over multiple seasons and...

Actress Miranda Rae Mayo shared some Chicago Fire spoilers about the big season finale.
One of the recognizable stars from the One Chicago shows, Miranda plays Lieutenant Stella Kidd.
Kidd was absent from the latest episode as Firehouse 51 dealt with the loss of Truck 81. Through character conversations, we learned she was in California hot on the trail of a new truck.
Things got more tense with Paramedic Chief Robinson, though, after Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) reported her right-hand man (Lennox) for nearly killing a patient in the field.
People have had to step up and lead the house recently. The absence of Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) has led to some interesting storylines.
Unfortunately, part of the season finale includes an “emotional farewell” to Boden.

In Dick Wolf's Chicago One franchise, Chicago P.D. stands out as the most intense. Over the course of eleven seasons, the officers and detectives of the 21st District Intelligence Unit have faced devastating incidents that have deeply affected them and their loved ones.
Due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the new seasons of the Chicago One shows have undergone some not so pleasant changes, and Chicago P.D. has taken a big hit in terms of budget cuts, cast shifts, as well as the reduction of the total number of episodes in Season 11, and that's why the final episode will be hitting our screens very soon. Speculation about Hank Voight's (played by Jason Beghe) possible exit from Chicago Pd surfaced online.
Beghe's hard-nosed Chicago police sergeant has appeared in all but two episodes of the NBC drama (also streaming on Peacock) since its beginning.
Hank has continued to play the de facto leader of the show's central police department for a decade, despite some of his in-universe colleagues coming and going over the years.

The Chicago P.D. hiatus ended with a new episode on Wednesday night.
When we last saw the show, Dante Torres was finishing up an undercover case to bring down a drug boss, Rafel Perez (Julio Cedillo).
During that case, Torres became romantically involved with the wife of Rafel Perez, Gloria Perez (Yara Martinez).
In a dramatic conclusion, Gloria killed Rafel. Rather than run, she told Torres she was remaining in Chicago. It could mean the story circles back later.
Also, earlier this season, the Chicago P.D. cast added actress Bojana Novakovic as Detective Josephine Petrovic. The quirky detective helped Intelligence on several cases, but Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) became suspicious of her and discovered a drinking problem.
A serial killer also remained on the loose, but this new episode was focused on a separate case.

The current season of Chicago P.D. has finished filming. While episodes are still left to debut on NBC, the cast and crew have gone home for the summer.
A Chicago P.D. wrap party took place to celebrate the completion of filming. It also gave people a chance to say goodbye to actress Tracy Spiridakos.
Tracy has played Detective Hailey Upton for years, but her final episodes will air this May. Many fans hope it means a return of Detective Jay Halstead (played by Jesse Lee Soffer) to provide some closure.
Jesse was photographed on the Chicago P.D. set recently, as he returned to direct a new episode. It led to rumors that he might step in front of the camera again.
Jesse also appeared at the Chicago P.D. wrap party, taking photos with cast members, crew workers, and fans.

Chicago Fire has teased an intense episode focused on Kelly Severide coming up, and some spoilers have fleshed out the details.
Taylor Kinney returned during Chicago Fire Season 12 to continue playing the popular firefighter. He had gone on a leave of absence during Season 11, causing fans to worry he had left the show for good.
But Severide was back for the Season 12 premiere this winter, reuniting with his wife Stella Kidd (played by Miranda Rae Mayo).
Even though Severide still has an affinity for solving arons, he has committed to being more open about it with Kidd. The couple did have some stumbles earlier this season, but Stellaride appears to be on the same page now.
During one of the final episodes for Season 12, Severide will go missing again, but this time with one of the Firehouse 51 vehicles. What happened? We will soon find out.

Tracy has been an integral part of the Chicago P.D. cast for years, but the Season 11 finale is her final episode.
Fellow cast members have often shared goodbye messages on social media this spring. That included a comment from Laroyce Hawkins (Officer Kevin Atwater) that read #SaveUpton.
Star Jason Beghe (Hank Voight) also recently stated, “It’s not going to be the same” when Tracy leaves the show. He is 100 percent correct in his assessment that the show must now adapt.
Marina Squerciati also posted about getting as many Tracy hugs as possible. Marina continues to play Officer Kim Burgess – a character who has been with the show since the beginning.

Marina plays Officer Kim Burgess and frequently shares social media images of herself and her co-stars.

Bojana Novakovic joined the Chicago P.D. cast as Detective Josephine Petrovic this season, with the character helping out Intelligence on the serial killer case.
They haven’t solved the murders yet, suggesting the final few episodes of Chicago P.D. Season 11 will return to that investigation.
There have also been Chicago P.D. rumors about Petrovic taking over for Detective Hailey Upton when that character leaves the show.

The new episode of Chicago P.D. returned viewers to the undercover operation Dante Torres has been working on.
It was revealed that Torres had been undercover for 36 days when the episode began. He was trying to take down the Rafael Perez drug ring (played by Julio Cesar Cedillo).
Torres was already getting too deep and had been sleeping with his informant. Actress Yara Martinez was back to continue her role as Gloria Perez (wife of the drug boss).
Rather than getting closer to answers, Torres had been relegated to working as a mechanic for the drug ring. But since the episode was focusing on him, it was clear something was about to happen.

Chicago Med alum Torrey DeVitto gave a new interview exploring why she returned to the show.
Torrey played Dr. Natalie Manning for the first six seasons of Chicago Med, most of which had her character in a relationship with Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss).
Her character had to leave the hospital after it was discovered that she was stealing drugs from a drug trial to help her mom.
Those drugs worked, keeping her mom around for much longer. Dr. Halstead tried to take the fall for Dr. Manning, but it didn’t work.
Torrey returned for the first episode of Season 7 to give her character closure. Will went to Natalie’s house to say goodbye to her and her son, giving them one final conversation before she finished packing her car to leave for Seattle.
Chicago Med fans were surprised when Torrey secretly returned to film a scene for the Season 8 finale.

The Chicago Fire cast has revealed a new actress joining the show for Season 12.
Presumably, this new person could wind up as the partner to Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith).
Losing Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) has been difficult for Firehouse 51. Her replacement was shoehorned into the firehouse by the new paramedic chief.
It turned out that Chief Robinson was trying to send a message to the firehouse and Chief Boden and that she wanted to replace the “old guard” in Chicago.
Jared Lennox (Wesam Keesh) surfaced as Violet’s new partner and frequently questioned her medical choices in the field.
The situation between Lennox and Violet escalated to the point where he reported her as being “aggressive” and “disrespectful” on the job.
When Boden pushed Lennox out of the firehouse, Robinson showed up to give him a piece of her mind. And now it means a new paramedic for Firehouse 51 again.

Chicago P.D. is finally circling back to the Gloria Perez case.
This means Officer Dante Torres will be the member of Intelligence that the next new episode focuses on.

Season 11, we can’t help but try to track clues as to just how Detective Hailey Upton will be written out with Tracy Spiridakos‘ exit coming. The latest episode seemed to have done just that, focusing more than it has since the premiere on what Upton’s going through. At the beginning of the episode, Upton offered to stay with Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and go through what they have on their ongoing serial killer case, but after turning that down, he asked if she was all good. “Yeah,” she said. “Really?” he asked. “You don’t have to worry about me. The Chicago P.D. cast added a new player on its most recent episode, and Bojana Novakovic continues playing Josephine Petrovic in the new installment.
This new episode is called On Paper, and it appears that Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) will work hand-in-hand with Detective Petrovic.
Petrovic was brought in as a profiler to help with an intense case of abductions and torturing. Intelligence also figured out that they were chasing a serial killer.
The unfortunate result of this case was that Hank Voight became very close with a survivor (Noah), even letting the young man stay at his house.

The Chicago P.D. cast loses actress Tracy Spiridakos this season.
Tracy plays Detective Hailey Upton and is filming her final episodes for Season 11.
Some uncharted territory lies ahead for the hit NBC drama, but fans have also become familiar with stars leaving the One Chicago shows.
Jesse Lee Soffer ended his run as Detective Jay Halstead last season. His exit left fans wanting more, though.
With Tracy’s exit, the writers and the showrunner must provide better closure. Bringing back Jesse to help her do it could be a nice surprise.
Several Chicago P.D. cast members hinted at how much they will miss Tracy. One co-worker even posted “#SaveUpton.”

Many Chicago P.D. fans will love the spoilers that actor Jason Beghe has revealed.
The latest dramatic episode of the show flipped a switch in Hank Voight, especially with the similarities that the current case has to when his son died.
After trying his best to care for Noah — the victim of a serial killer who had escaped at first — Voight has become slightly untethered.
Intelligence is also tasked with a difficult case – a primary reason Voight brought in an extra detective to help with the investigation.
Are the Chicago P.D. producers dropping hints about who might replace Detective Hailey Upton?
Tracy Spiridakos — the actress who has played Upton for years — is departing the One Chicago drama this season.
Jason Beghe speaks about a return of ‘the old Voight’ on Chicago P.D.

No surprise here, the Peacock network has renewed “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Svu” for the 2024-25 broadcast TV season.
