Embeth Davidtz was born on August 11, 1965 in Lafayette, Indiana. She is known for her role as Miss Honey in the film Matilda (1996).

Her parents, Jean and John Davidtz, were South Africans, with Dutch, English, and French ancestry. The family moved to Trenton, New Jersey, before returning to her parents' native country, where her father was a university professor. Davidtz studied at Rhodes University. Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. She has five siblings - two half-brothers, a half-sister, and a younger brother and sister. Her parents named her because they hoped she would achieve greatness. Her childhood nickname, Smiley, due to her cheerful disposition, was eventually shortened to Miley. Her paternal grandfather was Democratic politician Ron Cyrus.

As a stand-up, he performed on The Arsenio Hall Show (1989) where he received a standing ovation. Kathryn co-starred as Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania 2023, followed by Lisa Frankenstein starring alongside Cole Sprouse and Winner starring Emilia Jones, with release dates sometime in 2023. She can be seen as the lead of Amazon's The Map of Tiny Perfect Things, on Prime Video. In the fall of 2020, Kathryn starred opposite Vince Vaughn in Universal's highly anticipated horror-comedy Freaky, in which she starred as a high schooler who switches bodies with the local serial killer, played by Vaughn.
