A fine start to a new year. Really well acted, but I had my gripes with it. The ending was definetly..... something. - DirectorMartin McDonaghStarsColin FarrellBrendan GleesonKerry CondonTwo lifelong friends find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship, with alarming consequences for both of them.8.4/10
Good fecking movie a bit grim and dull. Best part where have to be the scene where Padraic says his mother and father were nice and he remembers them and that he will remember his sister till he dies. - DirectorJordan PeeleStarsDaniel KaluuyaAllison WilliamsBradley WhitfordA young African-American visits his white girlfriend's parents for the weekend, where his simmering uneasiness about their reception of him eventually reaches a boiling point.8.6
Scarily akward, but frighteningly akward or maybe both?? Good movie. - DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddEvangeline LillyMichael DouglasScott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are dragged into the Quantum Realm, along with Hope's parents and Scott's daughter Cassie. I might just be done with Marvel. I will check out Guardians of the Galaxy 3 since I enjoyed the first two and I have a bit of trust in James Gunn. This film was so mediocre. I can't keep watching these films. - DirectorJames CameronStarsLeonardo DiCaprioKate WinsletBilly ZaneA seventeen-year-old aristocrat falls in love with a kind but poor artist aboard the luxurious, ill-fated R.M.S. Titanic.9.4
I decided to check out a classic I never watched for the 25th re-release. Fantastic film. Don't get the "bad dialogue" takes I keep seeing. It all worked really well. Jack doesn't need flaws.
As soon as the iceberg hits some of the most tentious well made action ever put to screen conmences. The music and some of the acting in this film is great. Not a perfect watch, but it kept me entertained throughout. - DirectorChad StahelskiStarsKeanu ReevesRiccardo ScamarcioIan McShaneAfter returning to the criminal underworld to repay a debt, John Wick discovers that a large bounty has been put on his life.7.6
Good action, good comedy, and a perfectly decent film. - DirectorChad StahelskiStarsKeanu ReevesHalle BerryIan McShaneJohn Wick is on the run after killing a member of the international assassins' guild, and with a $14 million price tag on his head, he is the target of hit men and women everywhere.7.1
Drawn out too far. I got so bored of the million action scenes. Some fights were still fun. - DirectorChad StahelskiStarsKeanu ReevesLaurence FishburneGeorge GeorgiouJohn Wick uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.8.5/10
Actually great film. I highly recommend it. The action is still too drawn out, but their are better emotional beats and the action is more varied.
The opening hour is great. It has some nice emotional moments and some great action. Really well shot. The lighting in this film is well-done.
It lacks more in the middle. The action isn't nearly as good, but it builds up Donnie's character and a new assassin character who I though was great. It does house a particularly bad action sequence which was laughable at best. Speaking of laughing, to this point in the film the typical John Wick humor was gone and there were barely any jokes at all.
Where the film kicks into gear and really becomes something special is the last act. John Wick must reach a duel before sunrise. It harbors one of the best shot action scenes I have ever seen. You will know what I'm talking about when you see it. It concludes the character arcs for the new two side characters. It brings back the humor and it worked really really well. The final sequence was scored beautifully and was all round excellent. The film finishes in a nice emotional moment that I won't spoil.
It's the best of the Wick films.. - DirectorTom HooperStarsHugh JackmanRussell CroweAnne HathawayIn 19th-century France, Jean Valjean, who for decades has been hunted by the ruthless policeman Javert after breaking parole, agrees to care for a factory worker's daughter. The decision changes their lives forever.9.2
Not a perfect adaptation of the musical, but epic in its own right. Instrumental is fantastic. Apart from Russel Crow, the cast was beautiful. - DirectorChristopher McQuarrieStarsTom CruiseHayley AtwellVing RhamesEthan Hunt and his IMF team must track down a dangerous weapon before it falls into the wrong hands.8.4
Fun movie. The exposition was mid, plot developments were mid, but the action was peak - DirectorChristopher NolanStarsCillian MurphyEmily BluntMatt DamonThe story of American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb.9.7

(Seriously one of the best films ever made, this film cooked) - DirectorDamien ChazelleStarsRyan GoslingEmma StoneRosemarie DeWittWhile navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future.8.8
(Spoilers) I loved the film, but it would have been better if Sebastian was actually happy in the end. I get the point of the movie, but I never got the vibe that he let go of the relationship for his happiness. Mia was living her life, but he looked depressed from the scenes we got with him. - DirectorJames MangoldStarsHarrison FordPhoebe Waller-BridgeAntonio BanderasArchaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary artifact that can change the course of history.7.8
Really enjoyable film. The action is not all that great, but it is consistent. The biggest problem with the film was how every location was nearly the same. It didn't give that world trekking feel. Indy had a great arc and it was a fun and funny film
