Character actor, dramatic leading man, or hilarious comic foil? With an astonishing range of roles already under his belt, John C. Reilly has played an eclectic host of rich characters to great effect over the years, from seedy ne'er-do-wells, to lovable, good-natured schlepps.

The fifth of six children, John Christopher Reilly was born in Chicago, to a father of mostly Irish descent, and a Lithuanian-American mother, and was brought up on Chicago's tough Southwest territory. His father, also named John, ran an industrial linen supply company business. On the amateur stage from age eight, Reilly trained at the Goodman School of Drama and eventually became a member of Chicago's renowned Steppenwolf Theatre.

His film break came with a small role in the Vietnam War drama Casualties of War (1989), wherein Brian De Palma liked his work so much during the early stages that he recast him in a major role by the start of shooting as a soldier bent on rape. Reilly gained momentum throughout the 1990s and showed his dazzling stretch of talent in such films as Days of Thunder (1990), Shadows and Fog (1991), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) and The River Wild (1994). He became a major stock player in director Paul Thomas Anderson's films, while finding some of his best roles in Hard Eight (1996) as a compulsive gambler, Boogie Nights (1997) in which he played a narcissistic porn star, and in Magnolia (1999) as a compassionate policeman. He went on to earn further critical points for his role of the soldier sent to the front lines in Terrence Malick's war epic The Thin Red Line (1998).

On stage, Reilly has wowed audiences in "The Grapes of Wrath" on Broadway, "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "Othello" at Steppenwolf, and earned an Outer Critics Circle Award and Tony nomination for "True West" alongside another impeccable character player Philip Seymour Hoffman. Reilly finally received the film recognition he deserved in 2002 with a slew of choice, high-profile parts in The Hours (2002), The Good Girl (2002), Gangs of New York (2002), and especially Chicago (2002) as the put-upon husband, Amos Hart, who is played for a patsy by murderous wife Roxie (Renée Zellweger). For this last part, he received both Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor.

Since then his stock has risen considerably, and he has further widened his cinematic repertoire, appearing in everything from dramatic roles - We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), The Aviator (2004) and Carnage (2011) - to broader comic turns - Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Step Brothers (2008), Cyrus (2010) and Cedar Rapids (2011). Most recently, he has voiced the lead in Disney's animated smash Wreck-It Ralph (2012).

Reilly is married to producer Alison Dickey.

Sarah Silverman was most recently the host of the two-time Emmy-nominated weekly topical series, I Love You America, which streamed on Hulu and also received a Writers Guild Awards nomination.

Silverman is currently working on a musical adaptation of her 2010 memoir and New York Times Bestseller called The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee. The musical, The Bedwetter, will premiere Off Broadway at the Atlantic Theatre Company in April 2020.

On-stage, Silverman continues to cement her status as a force in stand-up comedy. In May 2017, she released her latest standup special A Speck of Dust on Netflix, which culminated in two Emmy Award nominations and a Grammy Award nomination. In 2013, she debuted her hour-long HBO standup special Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles, which earned her the 2014 Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special." The special received an additional Primetime Emmy Awards nomination that year for "Outstanding Variety Special" in addition to a Writers Guild Awards nomination. In September 2014, Silverman released the special as an audio album through Sub Pop Records, which went on to receive a 2015 Grammy Awards nomination for "Best Comedy Album." Previously, Silverman made an impressive splash with her concert-meets-comedy film Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic, which garnered major attention at the Toronto Film Festival.

In the film world, Silverman was most recently seen opposite Emma Stone and Steve Carell in the critically-acclaimed film Battle of the Sexes, which was based on the true story of the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. She also starred in I Smile Back, the film adaptation of the Amy Koppelman novel. The drama premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and was later released in theaters by Broad Green Pictures. Silverman received much praise for her role as "Laney Brooks," culminating in a 2016 Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role." Her additional film credits include The Book of Henry, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Ashby, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Take This Waltz, Gravy, Peep World, I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With, The School of Rock, There's Something About Mary, The Way of The Gun. Silverman also lent her voice as "Vanellope" in the Oscar-nominated smash hit Wreck It Ralph and Golden Globe nominated Wreck it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.

Silverman was nominated for a 2009 Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series" for her portrayal of a fictionalized version of herself in her Comedy Central series The Sarah Silverman Program. This marked Comedy Central's first ever Emmy nomination in a scripted acting category. Silverman also received a Writers Guild Award nomination for her work on the show. In 2008, Silverman won a Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics" for her musical collaboration with Matt Damon. Additionally, she was honored with a Webby Award for "Best Actress" for her online video "The Great Schlep," in which she persuaded young kids to encourage their grandparents in Florida to vote for President Obama prior to the 2008 Presidential Election.

Silverman has made memorable guest appearances on a number of acclaimed and notable television shows, including Monk, which earned her a 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards nomination for "Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series." Silverman also lends her voice to Emmy Award-winning FOX animated series Bob's Burgers. Her additional television work includes buzzed-about roles on HBO's Crashing, Masters of Sex, The Good Wife, The Larry Sanders Show, Seinfeld, and Mr. Show with Bob and David. Silverman has hosted a number of major awards shows, including the 2007 MTV Movie Awards and the Independent Spirit Awards.

Silverman grew up in New Hampshire and attended one year of New York University. In 1993 she joined Saturday Night Live as a writer and feature performer and has not stopped working since.

Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress and model. As an actress, Gadot is known for her role, which began in 2009, as "Gisele" in "The Fast and the Furious" film series, and for the role of "Diana Prince / Wonder Woman" in the DC Extended Universe, starting with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).

Gadot played "Wonder Woman" in the movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), and is signed for two future sequels, which include the Justice League and a solo Wonder Woman film. Gadot received swordsmanship, Kung Fu kickboxing, Capoeira and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in preparation for the role. As a result, Gadot's performance as the superhero, which is the first time for the character on film, was hailed as one of the best parts of the, otherwise, poorly-received film.

Best known for his role as NBC page Kenneth Parcell on NBC primetime comedy 30 Rock (2006), Jack McBrayer was born on May 27, 1973 in Macon, Georgia. He studied theater administration at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana, and went on to work at The Second City and IO Theater from 1995-2002. McBrayer became acquainted with Tina Fey during that time, which helped him ultimately secure the role on 30 Rock (2006).

After his time with those comedy troupes, McBrayer frequently appeared in sketches on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (1993) playing a series of stereotypical Southern characters. That stretch lasted from 2002 to 2004, and soon after McBrayer secured his role as a series regular on 30 Rock (2006), which begins its seventh season in Fall 2012. McBrayer received an Emmy nomination in 2009 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as dim-witted NBC page Kenneth Parcell. He was also the main character in "30 Rock" web series 30 Rock: Kenneth the Webpage (2007) which ran from 2007 to 2009 and earned two Emmy nominations for short-format programming.

Other noteworthy television credits include a small role on Arrested Development (2003) and a recurring voice on Phineas and Ferb (2007), among others. McBrayer has also worked in numerous movies over the past decade, including Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore (2010), and The Campaign (2012), and he is voicing the character Fix-It Felix in November 2012's Wreck-It Ralph (2012).

Jane Marie Lynch is an American actress, comedian and author. She is known for starring as Sue Sylvester in the musical comedy series Glee (2009-2015), which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award. Lynch also gained recognition for her roles in Christopher Guest's mockumentary films, such as Best in Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2003) and For Your Consideration (2006).

Ed O'Neill is an American actor best known for playing Al Bundy on Married... with Children (1987), the most iconic working class character on television since Archie Bunker. Upon his debut on the world stage in Youngstown, Ohio on April 12, 1946, he was christened Edward Philip O'Neill, Jr. Both his father, Ed, Sr., a steelworker and truck driver, and his social worker mother, the former Ruth Ann Quinlan, were Irish-Americans.

A gifted athlete, the 6'1" O'Neill attended Ohio University on a football scholarship, but transferred after his sophomore year to Youngstown State University, where he played as a defensive lineman. In 1969, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but was cut in training camp. (Al Bundy was a former high-school football star constantly reminiscing about his glory days on the high school gridiron. Terry Bradshaw, the Hall of Fame Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, twice appeared on "Married with Children".)

After being cut by the Steelers, O'Neill went back to YSU to join the new theater department. After graduating, he became a social studies teacher at his alma mater, Ursuline High School, before fully committing to acting. He was a member of the company at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts, one of the top regional theaters in America.

After numerous supporting parts in movies and television, he was cast as the New York City detective Popeye Doyle in the 1986 television movie that was a pilot for a proposed television series. "Popeye Doyle" was based on the classic police drama The French Connection (1971), with O'Neill playing the role originated by Gene Hackman). The television movie and O'Neill's performance got good reviews, but it was not picked up as a series.

A year later, O'Neill was cast as Al Bundy in the sitcom "Married with Children", which debuted on the then-new Fox Network in April 1987. It ran 10 years, until June 1997, and made O'Neill a star.

During the production of "Married with Children" and after its cancellation, O'Neill appeared in movies, guested on television shows, and made television commercials. The second iconic fictional policeman role that O'Neill took over was Sgt. Joe Friday in his 2003 remake of Jack Webb's classic crime series Dragnet (2003), which appeared on ABC. The network canceled the show during its second season. Since 2009, O'Neill has played Jay Pritchett on the ABC's sitcom Modern Family (2009), for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011.

Since 1986, O'Neill has been married to actress Catherine Rusoff. They have two daughters, Claire and Sophia.

Maurice LaMarche is a Canadian-born comedian and voice actor from Toronto, Ontario who has lived and worked in the United States since 1980. He is most well-known for voicing The Brain on Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs; Lrrr, Morbo, Hedonismbot, Calculon and Kif Kroker on Futurama; Mr. Big in Zootopia; King Agnarr in Frozen; Mr. Freeze in Batman: Arkham City; Yosemite Sam in The Looney Tunes Show; Abradolph Lincoler and Adult Morty Junior on Rick & Morty; Toucan Sam in Froot Loops commercials (1987-2020), and Orson Welles on both The Critic and The Simpsons. He was also the signature voice of the entire U.S. ad campaign for Lexus from 2009 to 2017. He has won two Primetime Emmy Awards (and received a third nomination) for his character voice work on Futurama, as well as a Daytime Emmy nomination for playing The Brain on Steven Spielberg Presents Pinky And The Brain.

Melissa Villaseñor was born on 9 October 1987 in Whittier, California, USA. She is an actress and writer, known for Hubie Halloween (2020), Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018) and Toy Story 4 (2019).

Katie Lowes was born on 22 September 1982 in Queens, New York City, New York, USA. She is an actress and producer, known for Wreck-It Ralph (2012), Zootopia (2016) and Scandal (2012). She has been married to Adam Shapiro since 23 June 2012. They have two children.

Born in New York and raised in Montreal, McGill University graduate Jamie Elman has appeared on many of television's most acclaimed series including Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, House M.D., Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, CSI: NY, The Closer and The Young and the Restless. He also played Luke, the resident piano-playing record store guy and boyfriend, for three seasons on NBC's award winning and critically lauded drama American Dreams. His breakout role was Cody on the FOX/YTV hit teen sitcom Student Bodies.

Elman's starred in "California Dreamin'" (Grand Prix, Un Certain Regard, 2007 Cannes Film Festival) opposite Armand Assante, "When Nietzsche Wept," portraying a young Sigmund Freud opposite Ben Cross, "Shattered Glass"(with Peter Sarsgaard, Chloë Sevigny and Hayden Christensen), "The Chicago 8" (with Orlando Jones, Danny Masterson and Phillip Baker Hall), "Saving Lincoln" (with Tom Amandes, Penelope Ann Miller and Bruce Davison), and "Random Encounters" (with Michael Rady and Sean Young). Horatio Sanz was born on June 4, 1969, in Santiago, Chile, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of the Upright Citizen Brigade's founding members and performed with Chicago's Second City comedy troupe.

When he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (1975) as a featured player at the beginning of the 24th season (September 26, 1998), he became the long-running sketch comedy show's first Latino cast member. He appeared along with fellow featured players Jimmy Fallon and Chris Parnell, and after only one season, the three were promoted to cast members. On the show, Horatio played the characters Frankie Hilbert on the sketch "Boston Teens", pothead Gobi on the recurring sketch "Jarret's Room", and A/V teacher Mr. Banglian on "Wake Up, Wakefield."

Horatio has had many minor but memorable roles in movies since 1994. However, his big break came in 2003 with his first starring role in the movie Boat Trip (2002), in which he appeared along with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Vivica A. Fox. He continued to star on Saturday Night Live (1975) until 2007.

Phil Johnston was born on 26 October 1971 in Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Zootopia (2016), Wreck-It Ralph (2012) and Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018). He has been married to Jill Cordes since 7 October 2000. They have two children.

Rich Moore was born on 10 May 1963 in Oxnard, California, USA. He is a director and producer, known for Wreck-It Ralph (2012), Zootopia (2016) and Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018).

Raymond S. Persi, a Thai-Italian California native, is an award-winning director whose career spans major film and television studios including 20th Century Studios, Illumination Entertainment, and Disney Feature Animation. Notably, Raymond received an Emmy Award® for directing on "The Simpsons."

Most recently, Raymond directed several critically acclaimed Peanuts specials produced for Apple TV+ including the Annie Award winning/ Emmy nominated "Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie" and the Leo Award winning/Emmy nominated "Snoopy Presents: Lucy's School".

At Disney, Raymond was integral to the story department for the Oscar®-winning films "Frozen" and the short "Feast," as well as "Wreck-It Ralph."

Mike West was born on 28 June 1957 in the USA. He is an actor, known for Star Fox 64 (1997), Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018) and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (2014). He has been married to Tina Marie Fausko since 22 August 1981. They have two children.

Voice actor and former stand-up comic Roger Craig Smith is a man of a thousand voices. In just one animation production alone, Roger voiced more than 170 characters for the Emmy award-winning Cartoon Network series Regular Show. He's the titular character "Mouse", as well as "Moose" for Amazon Prime's Emmy-nominated children's series If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Roger's legacy as an actor in video games is extensive. Voice of gaming icon "Ezio Auditore da Firenze" from Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed, with more than 28 million copies sold worldwide. He's the voice of the charming Legend "Mirage" in Respawn's record-setting Apex Legends, with over 70 million players in 2019 alone. WB chose Roger to voice the legendary "Batman" in WB's Batman: Arkham Origins and Arkham Origins: Blackgate. Roger has been voicing "Sonic the Hedgehog" for SEGA since 2010 and earned early gaming fandom when he voiced "Chris Redfield" in the Resident Evil series of games.

Roger is the announcer/narrator for NBC's smash hit World of Dance, averaging millions of viewers each episode. He's narrated more than 1,000 episodes of other shows, including TLC's longest-running prime-time series Say Yes to the Dress and DIY Network's Crashers series. He's voiced multiple promo campaigns for major networks and is the imaging/promo voice for the world-famous KROQ 106.7FM in Los Angeles. An average day begins with sessions from his home studio at 7am for national retail clients, heading into LA from 9am-6pm for animation/game sessions, then back to his home studio for more promo/narration sessions in the evening.

Raised in SoCal and voted "Class Clown" in 8th grade, he focused his creativity toward training in musical theater. He spoke at both his 8th and 12th grade graduations, was elected freshman class president in high school, and hosted a live local TV talk show while earning his B.A. in Screenwriting from Chapman University...all while pursuing a career in stand-up comedy. After working as a comic for 5 years, he left stand-up to pursue voice acting full-time in 2005.

Knowing he's got fans of all ages on social media, Roger keeps his posts apolitical and family-friendly. An avid supporter of CHOC (Chidlren's Hospital Orange County), he frequently visits the hospital to meet with patients. Jennifer Hale is a Canadian-American voice actress and singer who voiced Commander Shepard from Mass Effect, Samus Aran from Metroid Prime, Killer Frost from Injustice: Gods Among Us, Gladys from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Trinity from The Matrix: Path of Neo, Princess Morbucks, Sedusa and Ms. Keane from The Powerpuff Girls, Flora from Tak and the Power of Juju, Cinderella from various Disney projects and Dory from Finding Nemo video games.

Catherine Davis Higgins is an American voice actress and singer. She is best known for her roles in English-language versions of anime, most notably as Sakura Haruno in the Naruto franchise, Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury in the Viz dub of Sailor Moon (1992), Saber in the Fate/stay night (2006), and CC in Code Geass (2006). From 2010 to 2013, Higgins also voiced Miles "Tails" Prower in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, and in 2021, she would briefly return to voice new lines for Tails in Sonic Colors: Ultimate (2021) and Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps (2021) despite Colleen O'Shaughnessey having officially succeeded her by that point. Jodi Benson was born on October 10, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois as Jodi Marie Marzorati. She has received worldwide recognition & critical acclaim as the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid (1989), Tour Guide Barbie in Toy Story 2 (1999), Weebo in Flubber (1997) as well as Thumbelina in Thumbelina (1994). From 1985-1987, she played the roles of actress Alice Nutting, disappearance victim Edwin Drood & private investigator Dick Datchery in the The Mystery of Edwin Drood. In 1988, she appeared in the musical's 1st national tour. Other notable roles include Ado Annie Carnes in a 1986 revival of Oklahoma!.

In 1989, Walt Disney Animation Studios started production of Beauty and the Beast (1991). She learned about the upcoming film production from a newspaper article & applied for a voice role. She competed against 500 other applicants & was chosen for the lead role of Belle. The design team of the film had modeled Belle's appearance on Judy Garland so the casting crew wanted an actress & singer whose tone was reminiscent of her. She was thought to offer a decent artistic impression of Garland's style & had considerable experience in stage musicals, making her ideal for the role. After its release in 1991, she gained worldwide fame for voice acting.

In 1993, she joined the cast of the animated TV series The Legend of Prince Valiant (1991). She voiced Princess Aleta of the Misty Isles, a warrior woman who serves as a love interest for Valiant.

In 1995, she played Fantine in productions of Les Misérables. In 1996, she played protagonist Peter Pan in a revival of the musical Peter Pan.

She voiced Belle again in the direct-to-video film Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas (1997) & the direct-to-video anthology film Belle's Magical World (1998). In 1999, Disney released the compilation film Belle's Tales of Friendship (1999), which had a live-action Belle presenting animated tales. The live-action Belle was played by Lynsey McLeod but she voiced Belle for an animated segment featuring a brand new story. In 2000, she voiced Belle in the video games Disney's Beauty and the Beast: Magical Ballroom (2000), Kingdom Hearts II (2005) & Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ (2007).

In 2007, she played the soap opera character Angela in a story-w/in-a-story featured in the film Enchanted (2007).

In 2011, she received a Disney Legend Award, honoring her for her contributions to Disney productions over the past 20 years. That same year, she stepped down from her role as the official voice of Belle. Her voice had changed considerably over 2 decades, so she could no longer match her original voice. It was announced that she would continue to work as a painter for Disney Fine Art & make promotional appearances for Disney. In 2018, she reprised the role of Belle in Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018).

She has now mostly retired from acting though she continues to enjoy fame through voice acting in popular productions.

Linda Larkin is an American actress from Los Angeles, California who is known for voicing Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin franchise since the hit 1992 film. She also acted in Grand Theft Auto V, Zapped Again, Two Ninas, The Next Best Thing and Runaway Bride. She is married to Yul Vasquez since 2002.

Irene Bedard (born July 22, 1967) is an Alaska Native actress enrolled in the Native Village of Koyuk who has played many aboriginal American characters in a variety of television shows and films. She is best known for her voice role as the title character in the Disney animated film "Pocahontas," and the cult-classic "Smoke Signals" as Suzy Song. She is known for bringing a powerful emotional presence to her characters.

Bedard was born in Anchorage, Alaska, raised primarily in Alaska, but also spent a few years as a child in Washington state. Her father was Bruce Bedard, and mother was Carol Bedard, and she is their oldest of four - Leslie Bedard, Joseph Bedard and David Bedard are her younger siblings. She is Inupiaq and Yup'ik on her mother's side and Cree on her father's side. She graduated from Anchorage's Dimond High School in 1985, and then earned a Musical Theatre degree from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bedard's son Quinn Wilson was born in 2003.

Her first role was as Mary Crow Dog in the television production, "Lakota Woman: Siege at Wounded Knee," which depicted the 1970s stand-off between police and aboriginal Americans, many of the Pine Ridge Reservation, at Wounded Knee, South Dakota. She received a Golden Globe nomination for the role. Besides the first Disney Pocahontas movie, she also voiced the sequel "Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World." Bedard was the physical model for the character. She appeared in a different take of the Pocahontas story in Terrence Malick's 2005 film "The New World," as Pocahontas' mother Nonoma Winanuske Matatiske. In 2005 she was cast in the television mini-series Into the West, portraying the half-Lakota, half-white Margaret "Light Shines" Wheeler. In 2011 Bedard portrayed the Messenger in the Academy Award-nominated film, "Tree of Life." In 2018, Bedard reprised her voiced role of Pocahontas for Disney's "Ralph Breaks the Internet."

Her television roles span from 1995, including Stephen Spielberg's "Into the West," "The Spectacular Spider-Man," "Longmire," "Westworld," and "FBI: Most Wanted." She has performed in two Stephen King series, 2017's "The Mist" as Kimi Lucero, and 2020's "The Stand" as Ray Rentner. In the 2017 she portrayed the future Co-President of the United States for the Jay-Z music video "Family Feud," directed by Ava Duverney.

She's served on the American Indian Enterprise and Business Council to the United Nations and is involved in frequent activist work around the environmental and aboriginal issues.

Ming-Na ("enlightenment") was born on the island of Macau, forty miles from Hong Kong. Her mother, Lin Chan Wen, divorced her father when Ming-Na was only a toddler. She has an older brother named Jonathan. After the divorce, they moved to Hong Kong where her mother became a nurse. There her mother met Soo Lim Yee, a U.S. businessman. They soon married, and at four years, Ming-Na moved with her family to Queens, New York. Five years later, they transferred to Yee's hometown of Pittsburgh where his family runs the Chinatown Inn restaurant. Jonathan and half-brother, Leong, now manage this restaurant. Struggling to fit in at school, she changed her name to Maggie & Doris. She found a love for acting while appearing in a third grade Easter play, where she played a klutzy bunny. Her mother was not excited about her desire to pursue acting, She preferred that she go into medicine. Nonetheless, Ming-Na graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in theatre. She got her first acting job in 1988 on the soap As the World Turns (1956). Her big break came when she was cast in The Joy Luck Club (1993). When she needed a ride to the premiere of the film, her acting instructor sent one of his students, Eric Michael Zee. The two started dating in 1994 after Ming-Na moved permanently to Los Angeles and married in 1995, dropping her last name, Wen, at that time. She says she is now like Ann-Margret. Zee is a screenwriter and, with Ming-Na, manages At Last, a boy band.

Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose recently finished filming the lead role of the pilot episode Beast Mode (TBS / Macro), which is based on life of legendary boxing trainer Ann Wolfe. Anika is also serving as Co-Executive Producer.

In 2018, Anika starred in the title role of 'Carmen Jones' in John Doyle's production at the Classic Stage Company in NYC. She was also seen in the film Assassination Nation (dir. Sam Levinson) alongside Bill Skarsgard, Bella Thorne, Suki Waterhouse, Maud Apatow and Joel McHale, and the film Everything, Everything, based on the popular young adult novel by Nicola Yoon, opposite Amandla Stenberg.

Anika starred as the lead of the television series The Quad, which ran for two seasons on BET (2017-2018). Anika also starred in The History Channel's adaption of Roots as Kizzy (NAACP Image Award nom for Outstanding Actress).

Other television credits include the Starz series Power, CBS's The Good Wife, ABC's Private Practice, CBS's Elementary and FOX's The Simpsons; the A&E mini-series Stephen King's Bag of Bones opposite Pierce Brosnan; and starring in The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency for HBO opposite Jill Scott and directed by Anthony Minghella.

Anika has won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in Caroline, or Change and has also starred in Broadway productions such as A Raisin in the Sun (Tony Award nomination and Outer Critics Circle nomination), and Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.

Additionally, Anika has received The Theater World Award, The Clarence Derwent Award, a Drama Desk nomination, the Los Angeles Critics' Circle Award, an Ovation Award, an Obie Award and four NAACP Image nominations, including the NAACP Lifetime Achievement Award for Theater.

Anika was the youngest performer to be honored as a Disney Legend when she received the honor in 2011.
