He is a writer and director, known for The Nile Hilton Incident (2017), Cairo Conspiracy (2022) and Metropia (2009).- Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Assaf Cohen grew up in Palo Alto, lived for a number of years in the Middle East, and attended UC Berkeley where he earned a Bachelors degree in Integrative Biology.
