Also, Julia's former boyfriend, Griffin Holbrook, arrives in town for a visit while he has some legal matters of his to deal with over suing the merchant marines for an accident he got into on board a freighter.

With his AA sponsor and members against him, rejected by both Evvie and Holly, feeling abandoned by Sarah, and that everyone is against him, Bailey gets drunk and takes his jeep out with the intent to crash it and kill himself.
